that stat is rather impressive considering the injuries (number of points accumulated) , the cbj will have their hands full against Boston.

As for Elvis, he seems to be figuring out how this league works, he's holding the fort until Korpi returns.

I didn't see any of the games so I do not have much to say. But it is discouraging to note they lost to the Sharks twice in the span of what, a week or 10 days. Even getting the loser point out of those games would have been fantastic.

However, how can a CBJ fan be unhappy with their position after all the injuries and problems this team has suffered through this season? It is a real possibility to be a playoff team again, even getting to 2nd or 3rd in the dogfight that is the Metro.

The question that I think can be broached at this point is 'who are the CBJ going to buy at the trade deadline to get us over the hump?' Obviously GMJK is not shy about pulling the trigger, and without two or three bad injuries to the d-corps in the playoffs last year his deals would have had us in the ECF against Carolina, not Boston. And if that had happened who knows if the FA's that left would have stayed?

GMJK has the skills to pull of the big deal to get us over the hump, who is that player and what is the price we need to pay to get him?

In a season full of surprises, I am surprised Elvis has played this well filling in for Korpi!! He was playing just average hockey prior to that.
