Calgary needs to play with the same style they played again Oilers and they should be ok. Exciting game for sure

P.S. A bunch of us flames fans are watching the game together on Explorii app. If anyone else is interested, you guys are welcome to join.

Let's get this going. Go Flames Go

Loving the play as of late out of this group - am I alone in this, or has Mony taken on a much more physical style of play as of late? Whatever he's doing, I like it! Might have some effect on his counting stats, but he's a very different player this year vs last.

Yelesin also recalled, so I wonder if he's going to see a little time?

Also, depending on Kass' suspension, wonder if the Flames recall Robinson in time for the next matchup with the Oil? Not really a great fighter by any stretch, but wouldn't mind having 6'6" riding the wing JIC.

I wonder how many times Doughty's pumped one out to that replay. I bet whatever fine Kassian gets, he'll be more than happy to pay the bill

Tkachuk is a (frank)ing twat.

Would love him as an Oiler, don’t get me wrong. But he’s not an Oiler. Thus I eagerly await the day he gets absolutely skull (frank)ed in the most dirty manner possible.

There. I’ve vented. Congratulations on the win this weekend gentlemen. Yes, even you Hunk.

As a pens fan from Canmore, I love Tkachuk. Probably not playing against him if he was in the metro. I wish Brady T would demand a trade to Calgary so they can both light up edmonton.

I wish someone other than mcdavid was asg captain cause if I was I. That position Draisaitl and Tkachuk would be on the same line and Drai can refuse and pout like a baby if he doesn’t like it.

I for one welcome the hatred brewing between the two rosters. The BOA needed a serious influx of emotion.

I rarely agree with anything Torts ever says but earlier in the year (or was it last year) where he said the league needs more hatred amongst teams, he was right. Instead of forcing teams to play each other in the playoffs so much with this stupid format, let players speak their minds to the media, let them be able to emote. Then we’ll get some tension. Battles of Alberta and Pennsylvania should be war... except pitt is Injury probe so idk lol

You’d still beat the Flyers in a 7 game series. Sullivan and Jarry > AV and Hart.

Hey Piggy! Thanks, was a fun game.

All these people saying that Tkachuk should answer the bell are just giving him more space in their head.

I love him!!!

Answer the bell? Probably not wise, especially when you consider who he likes to provoke.

That being said, there will come a time when he’s vulnerable. It will happen eventually. And when that time comes, somebody is gonna hurt him. Probably badly. And when it happens, frankly, I’m not gonna shed a single (frank)ing tear.

But such is the nature of the game he plays. I’m sure you’d feel the same if he were an Oiler.

100%...
If he were on the Oil, we'd all be female doging just the same but he's not and at least his antics add a little drama to an otherwise flat rivalry. He plays on the edge but not quite to the Avery or Cooke level but...

For me and has been for a long time, why the hell there is a need to fight after what seems EVERY big hit?

That’s what ppl said about Marchand and yet nothing ever happened to him. Yeah the odd guy laid a thumping on Cooke but he still came out flying with the people’s elbow the very next game. And Avery, well his own coach kicked him lmao. I sure when they were investigating all these coach abuse complaints they probably looked at Sean and said we don’t care you probably deserved it.

Agree with you there.

Though I’d argue that Kassian’s antics were inspired by the number/manner of the hits, and not the last hit necessarily.

Would you run Marchand knowing that you’d eventually have to answer to Chara?

I sure as (frank) wouldn’t.

So Flames have 8 d on the roster. Who’s getting traded? Injuries?
Brodie for Domi, cause Tkachuk isn’t a big enough d!nk
Brodie for Kapanen and a 2nd

If I’m Kassian?

Yeah. Probably. Nurse did it and survived, so he could do it too I guess. Or Khaira.

Lucic is a mean individual, don’t get me wrong. But he’s not Chara, especially in his prime. No one is.

If you’re a huge fan of Tkachuk then this is definitely a must read...
Now if you’re one who truly hates Tkachuk then this is even more of a MUST READ...
Trust me it will all make sense...
Don’t get me wrong I know it’s a new day and tonight is a new game and it’s time to move on but being that it’s turned into one of nhl biggest debates, this article literally explains it all!!
There’s no link option but very easy to find under
Thehockeywriters.com and the article is basically right on top of the page called if you hate Matthew Tkachuk, stop playing his game!!!
Perfectly written!!!
And if ya have time to kill like I do today here’s another one... https://thehockeynews.com...seem-to-handle-taking-one

Duran², has Schweiny taken over the Flames thread after the Oil one now peacefully died? ... maybe finally time for a BoA-blogger.

Hope Rittich has a solid effort tonight... he (and Talbot's streak) puts some of my squads into limbo.

As you saw with Tkachuk/Kassian they don’t have to fight. Avery, Cooke, Marchand, they’ve all turned away from numerous fights. I loved the enforcer days but someone just beating another down regardless of they want to fight or not are pretty rare. I can’t stand Edmonton but I loved the whole sequence from both sides. Maybe Lucic will sucker punch an Oiler next game idk. I hope so. Chara I think is a bit smarter than Lucic and Kassian though and prob wouldn’t pummel someone down if he’s just going to turtle down.
