Morgan Rielly will miss a minimum of eight weeks with a fractured foot.

if the Leafs would like to start talking DeAngelo & Georgiev, I have quite the list of demands

I don't think Lundqvist will ever be the healthy scratch in this 3 goalie thing and I understand they needed to get Georgiev in

If I remember correctly, Hank doesn't have the best record against the Isles the last few years.

It would seem absurd even a couple weeks ago making this statement, but considering how ADA is looking like a cornerstone defender, would Toronto have to add to Willy? The more you think about it, maybe not. Defensment who can be franchise cornerstones are really hard to find and ADA has been averaging close to a PPG for his like like 80 games or something.

Honestly if the Rangers are seriously thinking of trading ADA, eff the Leafs. I am shopping him around the whole league. Bid up people

if they dont want to completely break up their team and want to add Georgiev and Tony D for a Cup run, Jimmy wants:

Kasperi Kapanen
Nick Robertson
Jeremy Bracco
2020 2nd rounder
2021 first rounder

it's a similar deal to McDonagh/Miller to Tampa

You could argue that based on age and wear and tear as well as salary and controllability, ADA worth more than McDonagh (understanding how good McD was at the time of the trade)

Flags fly forever. He will be out of the game until the heat cools down, possibly even get a TV gig. People forget the boss was banned for life and then was reinstated in a couple years. Even if he gets two years, Cora will get another job as he will forever be a world series winning manager.

Not sure what exactly is going to happen to Cora, but it sounds like it's going to be pretty severe based on what the experts are saying.

That aside, this is effectively a lifetime ban for that smug dildo Hinch and Luhnow. Nobody is going to want the optics of hiring confirmed cheating scum.

Yeah, there's an argument to that. However, he who must not be named was also involved in that trade and probably has way more trade value than Georgie. I'm not sure how you evaluate what Stinky's trade value was in that deal either.

I'm not going to speculate that much, generally I'm awful in figuring out what value teams will get out of trades. As much as my gut tells me Toronto wouldn't do that, it may turn out the Rangers get even more out of the trade

Hinch maybe, Luhnow will get another job I'm almost sure of it. Cheaters get second chances all the time. As long as you can contribute, someone will take a chance on you. I think with Luhnow, probably he comes on as somebody's advisor or support role and then in a few years he gets another GM job.

See and I think it's the opposite. I read a few snippets of that report and Hinch loathed that they were cheating. He apparently smashed the monitor on two separate occasions. Not defending him at all (I loathe him) but read what the commissioner said publicly about the culture of the front office in Houston. He absolutely skewered Luhnow. I think he's toast, no owner is going to hire this guy.
