You can’t Make a bad decision, its a mistake, which is a bad play, which is your fault. There’s no way to defend it. If you tell Barry, Barzal’s turnovers were his teammates fault he would laugh at you sorry.

However; if you put one elite offensive talent on a team of sub-offensive talents, inevitably that player will be overwhelmed by the weight of responsibilities. Barzal made bad decisions...agreed. he needs to NOT make those decisions. AGREED. The problem is he's a kid being asked to carry a team with no offensive skill at all. Next issue, let’s just move on because it seems like the chicken or the egg debate.

Call up Bellows or Koivula and throw either of them in tomorrow to get them in against a weak DETROIT and see where it goes. If Lameriello isn’t going to make a trade again start rotating these kids into the line up and see what they have. Don’t wait until this trend gets worse because it isn’t getting any better. Send a message to all of those wonderful contracts we signed this past offseason. You can sit anyone in the top 6 minus Nelson at this point. Lee is borderline unwatchable and Bailey is gratefully invisible for the most part because when he’s not it’s not a good thing.

Get MDC out of the line up. He’s (frank)ing useless and please save the he plays the defensive side of the game debate for someone else he’s a liability out there more often than not. He leads the team in minus in enough games where that stat actually means something. I would also start rotating Aho into the line up Toews has been an abortion not just tonight but for quite some time now that is unless they’re seeing something from Aho they don’t like since he has been up? Either way it’s time to do something.

If Lameriello isn’t going to get it done again start making adjustments from within while we’re still in this. Doing nothing followed by nothing is exactly what we’ve done for the last 13 years...

This team cannot afford to keep throwing out MDC and Moose and Leo when the team is struggling to score. Try something different. Do not wait until things really get bad. This team has been together a long time and they get comfortable. Time to shake things up for once with this roster.

Show us this is not the same old Islanders. I get the hiring of Barry was huge but can we honestly say Lou has handled the roster any better than Garth thus far? Lou gets full credit for hiring Barry and also needs full blame for the lack of improvements to the roster. Barry has overcome a lot with this roster but he needs help, It's up to Lou right now.

Huh? Trotz would have the option of doing so if cizikas were able to play. If he wasn’t trotz wouldn’t have enough bodies to do it unless he had Bailey and Barzal centering the 3rd and fourth lines moving Komarov up to the first. Get it right please.😂
