Never got nailed in the nuts while wearing a cup? I took a puck and a lacrosse ball full on another time. Had trouble walking for a month. - Cptmjl

I’ll add Varlamov to that list. I know some won’t agree but the term and amount to me is a joke under the circumstances and where he was playing when we signed him. Let’s just say he wasn’t negotiating from a position of strength or at least he shouldn’t have been. His contract does not reflect weakness. Also, I like Lameriello but if he doesn’t add to this line up In a somewhat significant way then to me he got trotz. That’s it. It’s awesome but just like our last GM an incomplete job. If you’re doing an incomplete job as a GM you’re not doing a good job. - Cptmjl
Heard that negotiations with Lehners camp in Chicago are getting sticky. Seems like a thing. |

I think the Stone story is out there... They wanted Dobson and Lou was going to do it.. but they wanted Branstrom more than Dobson. Vegas said if they can get him to sign deal as part of trade they would make the trade for Branstrom. ... and it got done.
just curious .. would most of you trade Dobson for Stone right now? I would.. - niteislander
I would be worried about trading Dobson at this point. I know he does not have the same value but I would put Wilde in a package. I know that does not bring back Stone but Wilde seems like he will be blocked with the Isles and Wilde could have some value in a deal. |

He did the little wiener. I would love him on my team but hate him when he's not.
That said, he's gonna have to answer the bell eventually. - nyisles7
So he takes a few punches big deal those hits are more punishing to me |

I still back Lou with what went down with Robin. I wanted Robin back but 2 years 10 mill seemed more than fair to me and especially after the Isles really helped out and supported Robin. |

What is he learning them? - Cptmjl
Leering (frank)ing spell check.
What they learn is don't take ice cream and go into the mens room with a stranger at an Isles game. |

Yeah he’s negotiating from a position of power. They want him to stay they’re going to have to pay. |

Meh, a blindside check is tough but I wouldn't want to get my ass kicked. Been there and done that not fun when a monster like Kassian kicks your ass. |

I'm not sure what he is looking for? Good for Robin fighting for his worth but he does not exactly have numbers like Bob put up for a number of years. |

Probably but I’ll dismiss the Ottawa and Sabre’s days the guy was clearly (frank)ed up. You know my feelings on him with us and I know you disagree but i have my opinion. As far as Chicago goes they’ll have to overpay for him because at this point he’ll get it on the open market. I can see Toronto trying to move some money around to fit him in. |

He has elite numbers playing for a pretty awful defensive team and all around team in Chicago. He had elite numbers with us last season and was a Vezina finalist. He’ll get paid and rightfully so he has earned it. |

Sounds like he basically want that type of number ~10 Million. You give him 10 Million per on a long term deal?

Islander fans, as a whole, are an embarrassment. The amount of people I see showing up to games in sweatpants is disgusting. Like the fine gentleman that saw Sydney going down the escalator after the first game back at the Coliseum that was pounding on the glass screaming "yes yes yes" at her like she was some sort of zoo animal. Overweight with a leather jacket and sweatpants on. I wanted to vomit. - eichiefs9
Leather and sweat pants is a super hot combo if you’re complete, total, white trash. |

MDW always acts like that at the Coliseum. Most Rags fans do.
It even funnier listening to them discuss hockey |

He will bait kassian all day and they got the win. He is 10x the player kassian is and clearly drilled him 3x in a game......he won that hands down - Upstate_isles
He totally won that game.
That being said, there will come a time when he’s vulnerable. It will happen eventually. And when that time comes, somebody is gonna hurt him. Probably badly. And when it happens, frankly, I’m not gonna shed a single (frank)ing tear. |
