Oh yeah Lou signed Varly and let Lehner walk ( again for reasons un known )no matter the reason that’s on Lou. Would we have done the same, I don’t know because we don’t know what went on. But yeah ultimately Lou lives with that.
Ok we discussed these issues to death I’m going to the Frisky Oyster for some drinks and dinner.
Have a good night (frank)ers - nyisles7
What a coincidence I’m going to hit the bearded clam shortly. |

Your mother had my nuts on her chin last night. She sucks as much as Varly. She’s knows as much about sucking cack as you know about hockey
Varly single handedly beat The Avalanche a few games ago. His Goals against isn’t that bad neither is his S%.
Your right Lou sucks he should get fired. 100%. - nyisles7
This means his hockey knowledge is second to none because that woman knows cock |

Hopefully today is the day these guys turn it around. I’d like to believe that last game was a rock bottom game at I hope it was. Can’t see how it wasn’t? 🤮😂 |

And you probably believed it was the beginning of the turn around before the third period. That game was such an absolute kick in the nuts. |

Biggest mistake we made was not keeping Lehner! Varly is a complete joke. Team is in need of Skilled players that can skate. Nelson and Lee are dinosaurs in slow motion. These two losses back to back may mean the end for this soft bunch. - LItransplant44

Agreed. In fact he has looked pretty terrible. Good period here and there then garbage the rest of the time. Nobody looks good from the goaltenders out minus Nelson imo. He has been pretty consistent through this bad stretch. |

And being there made it even worse. Although it probably saved me from having to buy a new TV. |

Meh. Don’t agree with that. He’s back to his inconsistent ways again imo. Whether that’s a product of the entire team sucking or it’s a repeat of what we’ve seen from him since he went pro I’m not sure but to me it’s just more of the same. Four points in his last five is ok but if you look over the last 20 it isn’t pretty he went 15 games without a goal and one primary and one secondary assist in 11. The only guy I see working consistently is Nelson even in the third period yesterday the guy was doing the right things. Hopefully the team snaps out of this can’t watch much more of it in all honesty. They crap out on the ice today I may not be able to stomach the ranger game. Literally throwing the season away it’s hard to watch. |

We will disagree on that. He’s been real good especially when he’s with Nelson. I think the chemistry they have has helped both elevate their game this year. |

Yeah I don’t know Beau to me does a lot of bouncing around like a pinball without getting much done most of the time. He’s great at skating into the offensive zone and then giving up the puck imo. I thought he looked fantastic for that stretch but I’m starting to see why I question his game again. He does have 4 in his last 5 so maybe he’s turning a corner I’m just not a huge fan of the fine points of his game in a consistency kind of way. He lacks it imo. I do agree he seems to look better with Nelson than anyone else but the way Nelson has been playing I think that’s more of a product of his game than anything else. |

I’m starting to get a little concerned with Barzal at this point and his frustration level when we have to sign the kid. He has not been playing well but I think we’re really starting to see more and more that he needs some help on that line. Lee just isn’t that guy imo. Eberle has been better lately but I feel he needs a legit, consistent, scoring winger and we don’t have that and who knows if Wahlstrom will be that guy? At this point he doesn’t seem to be that guy.
I hope the inability to add to this line up doesn’t turn into a negative when it comes time to put pen to paper. |

We have to hope it's not JT part II Cpt. I doubt it will end up the same way but I would not be surprised if Barzal was not frustrated. |

Has to be a thought at this point imo. Can’t do crap about it but I would hope there’s some push to address this and cut it off from happening. Cannot always be stubborn to appease players we can’t afford to lose. |

I honestly don’t think Varly was signed because of Sorokin.
The kids gonna make up his own mind and honestly I think his KHL team is gonna throw a shat ton of money at Sorokin.
I do think Lehner was a choice to bring back, and why wouldn’t you he was brilliant.
Things just got (frank)ed up in negotiations and it didn’t happen. I think Varly was always
the back up plan if Lehner wasn’t signed.
Just my opinion of course. - nyisles7
100% agree. It's 2020. Maybe in the 80's this would of worked with varly and Soroikin. |

Not that it's much consolation, but Boston just blew a 3-goal lead vs. the Pens. Of course, the lead was in the first period, so it's not the same. Also, it's not really consolation at all, cuz the Isles should hope the Pens lose, not overcome 3-goal deficits to win in regulation. |

Yeah awesome now they’re 7 points ahead of us. If we even make the playoffs at this point forget about home ice. Fantastic. |

We are 3 points from 9th yet 6th in the league still. Regardless of the last 16 games we are still ahead of a lot of teams so we still can turn this around without falling out of a playoff spot. |

Why the hell does Daily Faceoff have Varly likely to play back to back?
Edit: Never mind. They switched it. |
