nice to see Giroux finally getting some recognition. even the first line of the write-up says something along the lines of you may be shocked to his name here. he may be the most unappreciated elite forward in the history of the league.

Not sure if it's been mentioned, but did anyone see the video of the Flyers going into the tunnel after the game and a player was heard saying "his nose got in the way." |

does this win count since the Bruins didnt show up after they had a 3 goal lead - KINGKENZO
add in that they played their backup and it is a borderline unacceptable win. |

That's where I saw it. On the Flyers 24/7 page on Facebook. I don't have an official link. |

GMspeak for: his condition hasn’t changed since last summer. He might play this season, but we’re not counting on it. Hopefully his career isn’t over. |

Nope, doesn't count. Neither does the previous SO win in Boston because the Bruins weren't on their game for two periods. |

Seems odd to announce and “update” when you really have nothing to say. |

Hopefully being the key word. its funny how the 3/4/5 picks are going to end up being better than both the 1 and 2 picks. the NHL is a crazy place. |

Agree with you about Patrick, When I raised the issue here last week a genius told me more or less not to worry because his mother had migraines.. |

Migraines aside, Patrick is the worst player in the top 5. Not even close. |

This is true and highly under appreciated in Philly. People complain about his production and what not. Well. He’s never been the fastest skater and his size doesn’t help for wear and tear having been in the league a while now. It has always been his hands and instincts. 32 starting to slow down and is not in the center having everything work through him. Speed of the game had increased. He had put up good numbers being one of the only threats we have had for the last decade.
But now since he’s not at the top of the league in scoring. He’s terrible. Not a leader. Blah blah blah. And if anything a credible excuse no one seems to care about. Man had his first kid this offseason. Professional athlete. Yes. Human indeed. Perron does have more points than g. Does that make him a better player or a product of the system and how his team is playing? |

I am sure you said the same of Coots...some guys take longer to reach their full potential...some look like superstars the first couple years and come crashing back to earth...we might not get to see what he could have been, but there were some flashes that showed you the Flyers were not wrong in picking him. |

The migraine issue was pre-existing correct? If that is the case, your damn right you can question the pick. |

Well if that was the case, when he was the consensus #1/2 pick for a lengthy period of time why weren't the migraines ever mentioned? Sure there was the injury-prone narrative, but not a peep about migraines. Did this bypass every single GM? |

Did he elaborate on that at all? I would want to know why he thinks Patrick will play this season. What progress is being made?
