curious what they do with Ovy.

He will be 36 i think and a UFA

- senstroll

Call me crazy, but I think Ovi will take less to stay.

He wants to take a run at Gretzky's all-time goal record.

i have it on good accord that the cap will be 900 billion in 3 years.

ovi signs a 4x14M retirement contract. earned it with the cup win.

KHL cap is 900 billion next year.

That's rubles, though:

That Backstrom deal is horrible. And I have to hear how our 22 year-olds are so overpaid? His contract is ages 33-37...

Meh..... 9 and up is the norm for everyone now a days. But teams gotta stop giving term to older players. 3 years max imo......

Anyone familiar with the Corel Centre seating (or whatever the frank they call it in Ottawa these days)?

What's the deelio on 200 level seating - worth the extra $50 over 300 level?

It sure seems like it would be worth it - I'm wondering if there is a catch or something.

I haven't been to a game in Ottawa since 1997 - they scored late to break Hasek's shut-out and the Sens qualified for the playoffs for the first time. The building was pretty rocking that night.

Daily Faceoff has Sandin plugged into the 2nd PP spot. They really aren't the most accurate source, so take that for what it is worth. Might be a bit too much responsibility for the young lad right off the top. But I'd be curious to see it.

Good way for him to get some confidence, though.

Let him make a few passes to open guys.

CTC, I go a couple times a year. To me there is not a huge difference between 200/300 assuming you are not near the top of 300s.

If its a Leafs game I usually perfer the 300s since more Leaf fans sit up there

Well I guess he actually has more experience on a PP this year.

Plus Keefe has coached Sandin on the PP more than he has Dermott.

Yeah that probably has a lot to do with it. Makes better decisions with the puck and actually has a pretty decent clapper from the point as well. Doubt he will use it much but never know..

Yeah I am just used to BabRichard

He would of played neither and put Marincin in

"Ya gotta play at least 6 years of NHL hockey and 3 more practicing on the PP in practice before I even think of playing ya there. gotta just keep grinding and that is what Marty has done his whole career so he gets the first shot."

If it was Babs, he would have used Ceci on PP1 and you know it

He'd have demanded a trade for Luke Glendening and played him on PP1 and 25+ minutes a night.

How many times will Sandin just randomly fall tonight?

At the start of the season he definitely had some jitters and I dont blame him. Fell about 3-4 times (each game) without being touched

Nope, no idea at all.

Do you hear me? No idea.

If my wife asks, Wedgie had no idea what this post meant.

That felt like a year ago. Oh man, has a lot gone on this season.
