Blown 3rd period leads and the Avs are becoming an iconic duo.

Pretty tough to watch the games lately, but a lot of the recent play hasn't been that bad. Just need to get a couple wins and regain confidence

Johnson is terrible. He has been providing zero offense and sub par defense.

Also Jamie Benn is a female dog.

Just out of interest...
What would the average Colorado fan think of the idea of getting Barrie back as a rental near the trade deadline?
He clearly hasn't fit in well with the Leafs, but I assume you guys saw another side to him playing there.
The media drawl in Toronto today is how the Leafs need to fix their right side long term, so he wouldn't be on the trade block, while they are in desperate need of something short term on the left side. Nobody seems to consider that they might make more than one move, and right now they may have a rookie (Lilljegren) who might be ready to take a shot on the right side.
In this hypothetical situation, they'd move out Barrie to give the rookie room, then add whatever pick or prospect they could get for Barrie, to a deal for someone on the left side.
Thing is, Barrie has been shaky enough on the Leafs, that it might scare away a fair value move for him. Since you guys already know what he can bring, Colorado may be the best potential market for him...
Thoughts?

We can't afford Barrie going forward, so would be only this season, and doesn't really help with things we need improved on. So with that in mind, would be a minimal return (Mind you, the chance of it happening is near 0 in my opinion)

Ya...realized it would be just for the year, and that Makar probably makes him look redundant.... was just curious, as I'm not aware what position (if any) where COL needs help.
Thanks.

Wont happen because we would be giving up assets for someone we know we wont be able to keep going forward. Sakic isn't the type of GM to make a trade like this.
