Another streak is history but this time, it was a winning one. - Karine Hains
This team is strange... Either they are scoring lots of goals and controlling the play, but have terrible defensive lapses or they play decent defensively but cannot score to win. When the power play is going well, the penalty Kill sucks; when the penalty kill is going well, the power play sucks..
Just not a good mix of the right players and talent. |

No real top end offensive talent, a bunch of 2nd/3rd line forwards. Domi is a 2nd liner at best. The aging Shea Weber is the best of the bunch on the blue line but really? Not much competition back there either. Its the Price contract that will cripple this team into the future. Just brutal. And don't think any team is going to take that off your hands without you retaining at least 50% of it. Those trades don't happen at the trade deadline either. The deadline is mainly just expiring contracts. The habs biggest problem is management is discriminatory against non-French players, coaches, and GMs. Go ahead and ban me now for telling the truth. |

Growing pains.... inconsistencies are to be expected when you have that many young players in big roles and because of the injuries there's too many players in roles they dont belong in, this season was over awhile ago, no big deal |

Being naughty is fine, it's being a bonehead/douchebag that can be problematic.
edit: Max Domi took what can only be described as a bonehead roughing penalty.
just read the blog lol |

Brutal is one thing....can happen to any team....on any night....but they were amateur and at times dead boring...uninspired. Unprepared to play this game. The time has come for change. The empty red seats al over the TV last night indicate a fan base that’s disgusted. |

Just time for the kids to gain some experience, even if it is in a losing cause |

I don't mind them losing, but I don't think it's a very positive environment for the kids with the way they're playing |

What are you afraid of? That the rookies get depressed and never wanna play hockey again? |

Obviously the whole Red Wings team will retire after this year because they won't be able to forget all the negativity and losses... |

Its not ideal but it's experience nonetheless, I mean they have a couple 20 year olds killing penalties regularly and Poehling and Kotkaniemi seem to be gelling, which is great |

yeah, I guess you're right... it just sucks that they didn't show up for an "important" game like last night... not having a proper backup goalie really killed them |

Crawford 6-0-2 in Montreal. .971 save pct.
Package us some young talent....use him, and have Price as your back-up.
We thank you in advance for Poeling, Danault and a 2nd....that should do it. |
