Supposedly there has been some chatter about AZ considering trading Taylor Hall. Is there any truth to that? He seems to be doing well with them so I'm wondering why this has come up.

No that's total crap. Now, if they go in the toilet and appear to be missing the playoffs it's possible. But the Coyotes are 100% trying to woo him with their best-in-the-NHL off-ice treatment of players and they'll try to sign him in the offseason.

The thing is, the three "theres" are grade school grammar, and an English degree is about Literature, not spelling. Plus, it's an easy enough mistake to make when you've got about eight minutes to deadline and are your own editor.

LOL....I knew you’d call this a “typo”. It’s not a typo, it’s a failure to comprehend basic grammar. The calling card of someone who 100% does not have an English degree

To me, ignorance (lack of education and/or experience) or lack of intelligence is excusable. Laziness (an unwillingness to gain said education and/or experience) is not. Based on his lack of knowledge of the sport and unwillingness to watch games or change his fatally flawed thinking, I believe it is the latter rather than the former.

The Coyotes are in first, and they are going to add Barratt Hayton - currently one of the best non-NHL regulars in the entire world to their roster.

They are going to get back their star goalie, they just got back Hjallmarson, and they've got cap space and assets to add basically whatever they want.

They are maxed out on the cap, but Grabner makes nearly four, Goligoski makes five, Demers 3 and Raanta 4, so clearing cap space without hurting the team shouldn't be problematic at all.

Ohh jeez.. where to even begin here...how can you consider Barrett Hayton (a rookie with all of 4 points in 14 career games) "currently one of the best non-NHL regulars in the entire world" ...

Thanks and glad to hear this. He seems to be doing well in the desert.

I'm disappointed things didn't work out better for him while in NJ. It looked promising when the team made the playoffs and he won the Hart. But man what a train wreck in Newark this year.
