id be willing to take a chance on a geeorgeeev, Leafs have to start thinking past Andersen, getting a reliable "backup" who has potential as a starter also would be smart now.

But more like a Timashov, Bracco, Brooks type
Use Kap/Jonsson for a D upgrade

I'd include Johnsson in a deal for a backup goalie.

Is there a possibility that Leafs Nation has vastly over-rated Bracco?

Other than Atomic Wedgie, of course.

Heā€™s a good prospect.

2nd in points in the AHL as a 21 year old.

The dude has value and itā€™s hard to argue otherwise.

Whatā€™s your argument? He might not turn out to be good? Thatā€™s every prospect that hasnā€™t played in the NHL.

He's two months shy of 23, he hasn't seen the inside of the Leafs' locker room, and he has 3 goals in the AHL this year.

Why is he still considered a good prospect?

Heā€™s 22 yes...thanks for the update

He also has 30 points. Heā€™s a playmaker.

He was 2nd in points last year as a 21 year old and this year is TBT.

Why hasnā€™t he seen the lockeroom? To keep his ā€œshiny unknown prospectā€ label? Likely. Itā€™s save to assume whatever Dubas is going with Bracco itā€™s to keep his good value and not tarnish it.

Thereā€™s no doubt this kid has potential you canā€™t argue against the stats.

And for a person who literally just said Leaf fans need to stop labeling prospects before they hit the NHL(Sandin)and just to let them develop you need to do the same to Bracco. Itā€™s ironic what you are doing right now...you are labeling him as a failure which is no different than a fan labeling Sandin/lil as a success.

And yes saying that heā€™s not a good prospect anymore is labeling him as a failure.

If we can get a deal done with the Rangers for Georgiev and Skjei.. That would be good..

I would add Johnsson in a trade like that.

goalies are way to hard to predict. but its a good problem to have if you have a few NHL goalies.

We all tend to over value prospects in the hope we get a ton for one. Wingers are not as valuable as we like them to be. Many teams search for a top 6 winger but they donā€™t chance it on unprovens. Better to try that from within. Too bad he cannot showcase his skills on your team to find out. His chance for a top 6 look is slim to none til an opportunity arises elsewhere. Who is that team is the big question & what they give in return?
