Except that Hagg didn't want to hurt him so he just grabbed his shirt and gently pull down until KK decided to abandon/calm down.

(my mere observation)

Mete would have cleaned his clock....you see the strength in his lower body?....but lets get to the good stuff...great win for the Habs...great character game after a total melt down the night before against the Hawks.....whatever the Habs do...they should keep Kovy....he is a power forward and at 36/37 still can impact them

Really? Weber is not much of a fighter he mostly fights much smaller guy and can't recall him ever sticking up for a teamate.

Thing about Kovalchuck is, he's on a high right now for sure, doing and saying all the right things, his stats over 7 games are better than anybody could have realistically expected.... but can he be relied upon to do this for an entire season? At 37? I'm not so sure.... but he does look great and can still shoot the puck, obviously

The fact that he doesn't fight doesn't mean he can't, the team probably advises him to avoid it at all cost

He's a very good player and he's having a great season but probably one of the most overated thoughness in the league.

He does play a bit of a kamikaze style, awesome forechecker though.... it will be interesting after the break once everyone is healthy, who plays and who sits?

Martin Leclerc has an interest take on it, now that they are pretty much out of the playoff race, do you sent KK, Poehling, Suzuki, Mete, Fleury down to Laval to make the playoffs and maybe win a calder cup?

Give Alzner, Barber all the other good vets a candy and let them finish the season in the NHL, get a good draft pick.

I would say no to that idea but that's just me, I'd rather they gain the NHL experience, a win tomorrow and they could go into the break 5 points out... let them experience the push that they could potentially have with a full lineup... and to make it clear I don't believe they have a realistic shot at making it but they do, so let's see who steps up down the stretch....

How do you build a winning mentality when both the big club and farm club miss the playoffs constantly
