Not sure about either, Edmonton unlikely to trade Nurse and Puljujarvi is still a very good LW prospect, 6'4" top scorer on the top team in Liiga. Lots of teams would take him. Pretty sure Rangers would be happy to pay more.

Ya...but if he was smoking 13 packs a day, 100lbs, had a wooden stick and wasn't allowed to do a one timer from just outside the dot on the left side of the ice...he'd be trash.

Nurse can skate and is physical but not a good defender. As for Pulju I have my doubts. When people start talking about trading Willy for guys like that I just don’t see it.

One free asset the Leafs might consider is Mikko Lehtonen - undrafted 26 year old Finnish LHD playing in the KHL. Won Defenseman of the moth in November and December.

He has a NTC. Miller likes the west coast so my guess is his modified NTC has rast coast teams like the leafs on it.
