Hey, nice write up as always! I think you meant the AHL not the OHL scoring leaders list! |

Maybe so & Idk the ask for JGP. Tame it down if necessary but also Idk who else is competing for JGP. I do believe that is a fair offer & not overly giving too much. Til Dorion is clear on if he is trading him of if JGP actually redigns nothing to do but wait.
Leivo is due a raise & factors in along with Tryamkin adding contract.
That's not a fair offer.
If that offer was for Jean Gabriel Pageau. He's 27 years old having a career year on a very bad team.
He's not going to get 19 minutes a game on many other teams. He's also a rental.
Leivo is worth close to as much as he is. |

Nightie is on his kick again.
Always entertaining NH.
I don't think we will be buyers. |

Thanks Carol.
Every time the Canucks have a chance to claim top spot in the division they lose it seems. San Jose is not very good and should be a win for Vancouver.
I think only Vantel predicted that San Jose would face plant this year. They need help at the goaltender position but with everything they have given up chasing the cup the past couple years, they don't have the assets anymore. |

Lind and Goldy have also been very good. I would even say they have been on fire also.
Boucher is Boucher (Mr AHL clutch)
I expected Rafferty to be good but had no idea he would be that good.
OJ is still a work in progress but be patient. Another year maybe?
DiPietro doing nicely
Jasek and Briesbois are definite maybes. |

I agree. I don't care that some ideas are wild. I like his contribution. A definite fan of the team. |

Basically 30 games (+possible playoffs) of JGP for Tree's rights + MDP + 3rd. I wouldn't do it as I don't see JGP as being the difference between making/missing the playoffs, others may disagree.
It's possible Leivo comes back for games in March -- knocked out 2-3 months at the end of Dec with a fractured kneecap), that would give Ottawa even more value. Also possible he is gone for the season.
Leivo ($1.5M) and JGP ($3.1M) are both UFA at the end of the season. |

Holy poop!!!! No WONDER Jake didn’t get in trouble for that elbow in the game against the Jets!!! HE BOUGHT ALL OF PARROS’ GEAR?!?! Which, when you think about it, is very smart. The hoodie and hat costs about $125 with shipping and the fine is $5000, smart move Jakey, #Canucks

https://www.sportsnet.ca/...ble-pacific-playoff-race/
Speaking of being exploitable off the rush, the Pacific Division boasts both the best rush team in the NHL in the Golden Knights, and the absolute worst in the Canucks. What started as a very promising season has unraveled for the most part in Vancouver, with weaknesses being exposed as the season has gone on.
Very promising season? Unravelled? That doesn’t sound right. |

He is trying to get rid of players (Baertschi Schaller)
They won't be giving up prospects for rentals.
I think Benning would be very happy with a healthy team ( Sutter) and Loui contributing.
Fans may not like certain players but the team is set pretty much for this year and next.
I even heard Tanev talks may start soon by Rick D |

Projecting Raffy as 3 pairing RHD depth with mobility & offence. He would be sheltered fine if a regular imo. No rush.
MDP plenty of time to marinade.
Goldy good recall depth for injuries but has to be effective & lose the inconsistency.
Lind is the type of player that can be a wild card & maybe a PO type of Swiss army knife.
Jasek potential as a cheap 4th liner.
Brisebois is a plain Jane D but steady.
OJ is trending well & I said earlier playing with more talent in the bigs can only make him better once he arrives. There will be burps.
