Killing me because he has soooooo much talent Cpt. But he just tries to push the impossible or nearly impossible plat 9 times out of ten and it is getting (frank)ing unbearable. Let me add it has nothing to do with the talent of his line mates.

I think you and I have been all over this for a while now.

So you're saying that Barzal is a lighter version of Ho Sang?

Nah it doesn’t it’s on him. He has been terrible for a while and so has Lee. They’ve both been real bad for too long imo.
- Cptmjl

Lee for me is a totally different game. He’s a puck retrieval guy and net front guy where Barzal is suppose to create and for me Lee and Eberle have been doing their job but Barzal hasn’t. Lee tonight had 8 shots.
We will disagree on Lee but Schwein will be pissed at you.

No JS, not saying that but he is a 1C and he needs to tighten up his play for me.

Can't blame him. Tough to watch.

Stay tuned. We're gonna hear from your guy, Barzal.

Told that there are teams who have expressed some level of interest in #Bruins forward David Backes. Many are on his no-trade list. He’s submitted a list of 8 teams he will accept a trade to. Increases to 15 this summer. Team is keeping him off the ice to avoid potential injury

😂😂😂😂

Best wishes.

I’m not trading Pulock.
- Cptmjl

I didn't think so... but adding a guy llike Kyle Connor is going to cost you a lot. Since Pelech is still hurt.. what about him and a first for him (although I can't see them making that trade.. not enough just trying to think what would entice them to move him)...

Why would anyone want him at this point? My guess is whoever takes him is also going to get some picks or prospects too. Basically a "please take this salary off our books" trade.

thoughts on Panarin shoot out last night? not sure how you can say he AND the puck did not go backwards on that move.

I said to a fellow Isles fan at work last night on the way out... I don't know why but we don't play well against the Preds. .... why is that? They destroy us.. odd.

I think you need to find a way to add to our forward group without giving up one of our two, young, top defenseman.

In the seven games since the end of the break, the Isles have given up 24 goals. Barzal's been on the ice for four of them (and none last night). Nelson's been on for 13 of them, Beau for 12; Bailey for 11. Even Barzal's linemates have been on for more goals against...five for both Lee and Eberle. Cizikas is the only center who's been on for fewer (which is impressive given his assignments and PK time).

I know most of those guys get tougher defensive assignments, and I'm not at all trying to say Barzal's been at his best...he's trying to do too much and has turned the puck over sometimes because of that. But for the amount of grief he's taken over these seven games relative to those other guys, I'd submit he hasn't really been the problem here. Heck, this would have been their third loss in four games if not for his three-point game against Philly, including setting up Pulock's late-game heroics on a platter.

Yep but he’s still giving up the puck instead of putting it in the net which is what he gets paid for. Luckily most of the time its not going in our net.

I have been a little bit frustrated by some of Nelson's play without the puck lately. He and Bailey almost never take the body, no matter how much the situation calls for it.

Reverting back to old bad habits .. both of them are Coasting. I would love to know the Stat for Bailey No-look backwards pass in the D-zone that ends up on the other teams stick and in our net. He has done that stupid garbage for YEARS.. and still does it. sometimes just flipping it out of the zone is OK. You don't have to make a fancy outlet pass everytime... drives me nuts.

Bailey especially does not put up enough points to play this way. Any offense he adds he gives back with his lack of effort. Nelson is much better under Barry but he still has his lazy moments as well.
