Funny how he didn't mention Girgs. I thought teams would be calling about him. He's had a decent season. I recall when ERod asked for his trade teams had interest in him but not his cap hit.

All we're getting is picks for these players. Moving on...

- mhp

I like Girgs, he's a good 4th line that can move up for a few games if need be

I don't hate him but I'd keep Larry and Lazar over him any day of the week if I had to pick.

I'm good with it, they acquired Erod for free, Vesey with a 3rd, Larry for not much.
Get a couple 2021 picks if they can move it up a round.

Larry came over in the Pominville trade to Minny

I would keep them all, could make for a decent 4th line, but what to do with Okposo.

Just remember, button pusher that so many things that you enjoy were built by me.

You enjoy the arena?
I was a big part of it.
You enjoy the Harbor Center?
I was a huge part of it.
You enjoy the outdoor rink?
I took that project over and was the reason why it was completed.
You enjoy New Era Field?
I can't tell you how many times that my blood and sweat has saturated those grounds.
You enjoy the casino in Niagara Falls?
I poured every floor and every bit of concrete on the project.
You like your building that you sit in, at a desk and push buttons in?
Yea well, I build those places for your lazy ass.
You enjoy the roads that you drive upon, the bridges that you cross, the walkways that you walk upon?
I build those for you because you can't.
I can go on but....

Just think of me at every one of those locations because, I was a big part and am a big part of those.

You see, I was an Advertising Executive at 16 years young at Adam Meldrum and Anderson.
I did all of the drawings and rough sketches for the Courier Express and the Buffalo News.

But as I would learn about myself, I couldn't stand sitting at a desk being lazy all day long sitting on my ass like you.
I needed to move!

So into the field of being a union project foreman/superintendent I went.
And 37 years later.
I couldn't be happier.

Anything else?

Is there a team that would take him with half his salary retained in exchange for a shorter bad salary of a year or two if we threw in a prospect?

Would JB do such a thing?

You mean the ones literally crumbling 10 years after they're built when they're designed for 50? Those ones?

Also, (frank) off, no one cares.

Great accomplishments, if they are accurate. And even if they are, they don’t earn the right to be a douch to people who are passionate about this team.

I don't know, I just can't see a team taking him on with his head and contract. It's time for him to realize it's time to step away.

My first ever Sabres jersey was an Afinoganov slug. Watching that video reminded me of why I became a fan (yes I know I’m young).

I look forward to the building buzzing like that once again once again in the near future.

Now secure that top 8 pick so we get closer to making that a reality.

Listening to the call of Drury scoring in game 5 with 7.7 seconds left today still gave me chills. It's fun to relive.

I've also been having mixed feeling of just sort of sadness that these celebrations of good times are happening during the (frank)ing worst time ever which sullies it to some degree, and anger that we're still here

- Chris16

I watched the ceremony to see who came and the montage video so I could have memories of when I didn't hate this team and organization. Now, it's time to play DOTA.

Yeah, I know you love the game, but when a bendy straw could give you a Concussion. It's time to reset your priorities.

Max remains one of the single most exciting athletes I've ever seen. Frustrating as heck too, but he always brought you out of your seat. And, yes, I have a Max slug as well. Wore it to the last game I went to (last season), and no less than 3 separate groups of fans came up to me to talk about how much they loved watching him play.

The guy has committed to a long term troll, and give him credit, it is somewhat funny. He is in here long enough to know who people are and how often they post, and that’s not lost on him. He understands the irony but denying it is part of the troll. That’s just the character he is playing and I give him credit for full commitment and adding some excitement once in a while.

I think he does use parts of his real life, but the whole narcissistic borderline personality disorder is a well played act.

No, that's who he is, 100%. He tried to cover it up for a little while, but the real him came roaring back. I know a few people exactly like him, raging bumholes who "found God", and then somehow became even more insufferable.
