What analytic show how defense is focused towards Eichel vs Sam vs Olofsson for example?

And no stat ever tells the complete story either
If they did,
then we’d never be surprised when (x) player breaks out, or (y) player takes longer to develop, and so on

Stats should be used to help reinforce what you’re seeing with your eyes
I don’t wanna say ppl use them in a vacuum,

And yes, okoposo is a problem but at some point, there are going to be too many concussions. And we aren’t far from that point.

My pipe dream is Domi at 2c. He just has that tenacity that’d fit perfect.

It's good to hear someone being positive, cause we aren't as far of as some think. As Pegs pointed out, if we would have just gotten. 500 hockey from Hutton through the last 3 months we would be playing meaningful hockey right know. As some have pointed out a few added pieces and a couple of the youngins take the next step and this team takes the next step. I like his heart and the way he's been playing but if they can get Okposo to retire would really help this team in many ways.

In fact, he got it before, knew it was misspelled and likes to wear it. He showed up that day and put it on. It wasn’t something we gave him that night, but he wore it.

In terms of Dave Andreychuk, that was '80s Night and that jersey we did give him. There is a positive and negative to that. The negative is the jersey was misspelled. The positive is the error was caught in the hallway before he went on the ice. We were able to swap out the jersey and get him the correct one before he went on the ice.

That interview was lightly salted with corporate bullpoop. But I appreciated it. Interesting how 'previous leadership' was blamed for the lack of goatheads. You have to wonder if those same people that were purged last year had something to do with missing that deadline.
