Guess it depends who offers more term. - Buff36
Maybe. You never really know what a player is thinking. Gore came here cause Shady told him to. Then Beane reeled him in.
Considering this is landing zone for all ex-Panthers, just play the (frank)ing odds.
He may not want a long term deal. Maybe 2 years with just this year fully guaranteed. I dunno.
Bills are also a lot better than the Skins too. That could make a difference. It's also inexpensive to live here and no one ever dislikes raising a family here. So.. who knows. |

Good, sniping middle 6 forward. His effectiveness is akin to Mojo. This year in the games he's played, he was disappointing.
So to answer your question.. I don't really know. - TheSabresTaco
Anderson : 27 goals 20 assists +25
60 pims
2 shorties
25 years old, 6'3 with some snarl.
Fits the size and time line.
Last year without a #1 type center |

They think it could be worse. - dadeadhead
They do?
"According to François Gagnon in an article published at 16:00 today, Weber traveled to Wisconsin to see the surgeon who operated on him in 2018 and see if the tendons he fixed then were still intact. From what RDS could gather, the current injury has got nothing to do with the one from 2018 and that was confirmed by the Canadiens' official medical update." |

Good post.
Wonder if he wanted out of Carolina because of Ron leaving?
Seahawks give him a shot at a ring as well.
Bill's and skins ?
Mcbeane is gonna pay the man in my opinion.
He is the "the process"
I see your guy borocop with 9 hits in 16 minutes last night. Also a high ankle sprain. - Boss34
yeah think ill throw him back to the wire.
I don't think he wanted out as much as the team didn't really want him there anymore considering they're going into a rebuild.
During a 15-minute phone interview with The Athletic on Tuesday, Olsen addressed his future and set the record straight on his departure, which the Panthers last week characterized as a mutual agreement between Olsen and the team.
Not so much.
General manager Marty Hurney flew to Miami, where Olsen was part of Fox’s Super Bowl coverage, to inform him the team was going another direction, according to Olsen.
“I told coach (Matt) Rhule, I told everybody, if they wanted me back, then that would be great. But in the meantime, I didn’t know what the future held, but as long as I was on the team I’d be a resource for them, an asset to them to help that transition,” Olsen said.
“But that wasn’t the case. They weren’t able to commit to me being a part of the team going forward. That was why we thought, better to do it now than just delay the inevitable.” |

Doesn't necessarily mean he's a bad player, but it's up to the scouts to figure out what happened to him and if it's an anomaly. |

Maybe I am being greedy, but I would want more than Anderson, as he is having a horrific year this year.
Yes, he had a nice year last year, but this year has been really bad. - kingcong39

Wonder if the poop shoulder has anything to do with his statistics?
I'm not super impressed with montour at 5.5 x 6
Sabres are in a position to take a chance on an injury guy , bogo's spot just became available. Wonder if Anderson spins tunes?
Pretty good upside, core age and probably a value considering the injury and contract drama .
They need a defenseman, as pach mentioned. |

Oh, I thought the world of you
I thought nothing could go wrong
But I was wrong, I was wrong
If you, if you could get by
Trying not to lie

And I wouldn't feel so used
But you always really knew
I just want to be with you
And I'm in…

Anderson had injury issues on his left shoulder all summer and he essentially started the season with an injury. Once that healed up, he wasn't the same player. Then Boro wrecked his other shoulder.
Overall he sounds like a player the Sabres should take a shot at, if the price is reasonable. Right now, the Jax would be selling relatively low. But that type of guy would be a welcome sight here. |
