Not sure why Gilmour over Pilut. Gilmour has had a rough stretch in Rochester. - mhp
And/or reasons:
1. Mittelstadt treatment. Play tons, get better in own zone.
2. Tight cap restrictions. 200K means a lot here. |

Like to see what Cozens could do with Eichel, see if you could get Granlund, be interesting to see what Skinner Granlund Rhino could do as a second line. - Buff36
You won't, as long as Ralph is here. |

The top goal scorer in Liiga is Julius Nattinen. He was a 2nd rd pick for Anaheim in 2015. His ELC was terminated by Anaheim. He is 23 years old and has 27 goals in 43 games this year. He's 6'2" 192 and is a right shot center. Might be worth a look.
Another player is Teemu Turunen. Undrafted, 22 years old and has 40 points in 34 games for HIFK. 5'10" winger who shoots left. He had 54 points in 57 games last year (20 goals). |

if a team picked up Bogosian on waivers would the 5.14 count against their cap or just the 1.3 or so of the daily cap hit remaining?

They’d be responsible for the prorated amount of his cap hit based on number of days remaining in the season. So roughly $1.38M. |

Who terminates an ELC? Sabres did, with Karabacek. Wonder why. |

Gilmour's been scratched in Rochester. This is not a merits call up. |

4+8 in 55 games with the San Diego Gulls and an aversion to reporting to the AHL for another season? |

So bogo gets waived.
Pilut gets sent down, which we thought was a “on paper” move.
And they call Gilmour up...
Seems odd but I’m no cap guru... |

Per cap friendly it indicated his ELC was terminated. Not sure by whom. He did play the 17/18 season in the AHL. Maybe he thought he wasn't gonna get the opportunity in Anaheim. |
