A little more expensive for a little longer than I’d like, but I would not complain....

Let’s see, if I had to rank the centers mentioned on this page, using nothing more than my vast lack of intellect.

1- Domi - exactly what the Sabres need

2/3 - cerelli/ torcheck - flip a coin, remember, vast lack of intellect

4- Johansen... lil expensive, lil too long

Would not complain with any of the 4...

Anthony Cirelli would be a better fit IMO

doubt either will be traded

He’s getting Selke buzz
I’m sure Tampa will sign him to a team friendly deal & find a way to move Palat or someone instead

Cozens has been very good but was pretty poopty at center Earlier in the year but I'm eating my words It's like Ryan o'reilly taught him now

I still stand he should stay there next year so you don't rush him and let him dominate again and get bigger

If he finishes top 5 in points in the league this year, you can't send him back. Theres nothing left to learn at that level. The only alternative to the NHL I'd like to see is Europe potentially. I think he'll be ready though

Hell no on the bolded.

They need to stop the spinning wheel of RHD mediocrity that is Ristolainen and Montour.

I understand the context but I'd still consider it. The same could be said about 2C after all

I think he is way to skinny for the and not Strong enough at all for the next level .. Sam,Casey, Mikhail all Dominant but needed more time

I think Europe is the best decision just like it helped Auston Matthews

Johansen is a consistent 60-70 point center
probably can be had for half the price of the others

I could definitely see that being good for him. They'll need to sort out a plan that doesn't include Mittelstadt being 2C next year in that case though

Yeah, I'd say an overwhelming majority of both Botterill supporters and "haters" agree he will not trade for a legit, established 2C

After Casey and tage they need to think about Europe and stop gifting roster spots for free and let them develop

Agreed

I know ppl look at Johansen’s assist totals & think he’d be a perfect fit with Skinner,
but i just don’t like the player

Johansen wouldn't be bad if the Predators took 2 million that's a great Idea for a second line center Until one of the Prospects are ready
