A little more expensive for a little longer than I’d like, but I would not complain....
Let’s see, if I had to rank the centers mentioned on this page, using nothing more than my vast lack of intellect.
1- Domi - exactly what the Sabres need
2/3 - cerelli/ torcheck - flip a coin, remember, vast lack of intellect
4- Johansen... lil expensive, lil too long
Would not complain with any of the 4... - Gr8daygo

Johansen is a consistent 60-70 point center
probably can be had for half the price of the others - homiedclown
That may well be, but the cost of an additional $3.25m per is very substantial.
Trocheck might have the perfect contract for their 2C needs AVV, term line up nicely for next 2 years, rather than be hamstrung for 2 more in addition.
Neither is probably happening because only 17 2C's moved in the last 4 years...so none really move at all. |

For those that want Sam Bennett, the cost might be going up. He already has 2 goals in the game tonight.
Just looked at the Sabres points vs the western division. Arizona presently sits in 8th with 64 points. The Sabres have 60 with 2 games in hand.
The East is the Beast this year. |

His 11 points are in high demand 😖
But I would like him I think a change and a different Opportunity might make him the player he was supposed to be |

The Athletic's Connor Hughes believes it "seems highly unlikely" the Jets re-sign impending free agent Robby Anderson.
League sources tell Hughes that Anderson is expected to receive $13-15 million per year on a multi-year pact, while the Jets would prefer to sign him for closer to $10 million annually. Anderson has already said he won't be giving the Jets a "hometown" discount. The soon-to-be 27-year-old (in May) is a top-three free-agent wideout, along with Amari Cooper and A.J. Green.

Wonder if Oloffson could still pull off the Calder? Maker may have it locked in but if Oloffson stays red hot down the stretch he should be considered |

I realize this is a rumors site, but i'm sick of the trade scenarios - just... stop. If it were up to me I would put a ban on any trade talks (when it comes to the Sabres). Why ? Because there will be no trades of any significance made by this team. Why not ? Because Botterill sucks. It's just that simple. Years from now when he's finally fired, we'll all be posting "what took so damn long ?!?".
I really don't see any light at the end of the tunnel for this team. In my mind, we're screwed for a long time. Why bother watching/posting/caring ? I don't know ... I really don't know. - kritter65
