Can gain serious momentum at an ideal time with a win against Tampa.

Even if for whatever reason they can't pull out the 2 points Saturday, I have a good feeling the team is going to hit their stride at the right time and we'll see our boys playing primo hockey in the postseason.

Nice to see Hart back playing well. Perfect timing as Elliott was starting to struggle a little.
If Hart plays 75% of the remaining games and plays like he can I like our chances of possibly finishing 3rd in the division.

Bob didn’t have to worry about being scored on by Sanheim either, so that’s a plus.

So just coming in to check the mood. How has PelleL31 been holding up? MJL keeping everyone in line?

Just because I have not been in much the last few seasons does not mean I have not been following the team....it just means I have been busy as hell. I do a lot of work around the burgeoning hemp industry. Actually have gotten to chit chat with Cote a few times at various hemp/cannabis conferences...he is a big advocate.

Anyway...so...I have been a flyers fan for decades but I have not lived in PA (grew up in central PA) since I was 18. So I have seen a lot of games live over the years...in DC, Columbus, Nashville...but I never have been to a home game. Kids are now 10 and 7 and so we're about to remedy that....just got tix for the March 29 game vs. the Pens. Why go small, right? Coming up from KY for the game and to hang in Philly for a few days see some historical stuff (oldest kid is into Alexander Hamilton, thanks to the broadway play soundtrack) and enjoy the game. So looking for recommendations on good neighborhoods for finding an Air B and B that are safe and close to the history and also provide a reasonable spot to access the Wells Fargo. Looking to take the Metro-Subway to the game. Any suggestions?

Is the Metro a good option for getting to the Wells Fargo? Is Passyunk square area a decent option? Been a long time since I have been in Philly at all...maybe 2001 for a Phish concert at the spectrum? Any ideas appreciated!

Great effort tonight for 50 out of 60 minutes. Hopefully the Flyers can take 2 points from Tampa, but that's going to be a tough game. Gotta love the effort from Pitlick. His motor always seems to be running full speed. At 6'2" 200 lbs, he wins lots of puck battles. It doesn't matter if he's on the 3rd or 4th line, he seems to bring a lot of energy to his line mates. Not a bad pick up for 1 Million a year. Hart made some great saves tonight. Any chance AV puts Hart in net vs Tampa on Saturday and puts Moose in net on Tuesday vs Columbus at home?

NAK has got some wheels, boys! Pitlick doesn’t look too bad on his skates either. He’s got some jump. It’s a nice 4th line. Best we’ve had in a long time. Let’s hope Nolan can come back and skate that 4th line center.

So if the playoffs start today, Flyers play Boston. Put your coaching hat on. Game 1. In Boston. Which goalie gets the nod to start?

Lexingtonflyer I am not far from you in Nashville. We have tickets to the game here when the flyers Come to visit. There are still some good seats available but you have to be local to buy them. There will be quite a few philly fans at the game. You should consider bringing the kids to this one as well.
In my opinion Nashville has THE BEST crowd and best atmosphere out of any arena I have been to. Its very kid friendly as well

Passyunk is a great area. Lots of restaurants and you can walk to the Broad Street subway that will drop you off right at the stadium. And it’s a great experience to ride the train to the stadium. It’s a sea of orange.

I like the way the team is playing. I’m hoping for 1pt vs Tampa. Anything more is absolute gravy.

We’ve played well with hagg in the lineup. I want to get ghost in at a certain point, but roll with the hot lineup.

Props to Pitlick. Really playing well.

Bill,

Why was frost called up? Would it not be better for him to play in the AHL then to be a healthy scratch?

Thanks

Sure would. In my opinion, they wanted to move Giroux back to wing and keep Laughton at wing. Frost played and in my opinion did not play well overall. So if he's not going to play, send him back.
