advertisers, supposedly. Though from what I know most of the advertisers are mail order brides and penis enhancements.

Cocksucking slips though. banana eaters doesn't. You figure it out.

Do you all find it weird that their is really no rumours involving the Hawks this time of year.
- Tatoo

Not really. They’re not buyers and they don’t have any significant assets to sell.

Plus, the rumours you’re use to hearing we’re just made up.

Eddie O. Is not qualified. A little bit of coaching and he watches lots of games. We do not want a novice. Let him try GM at some other level pro or Junior. Bringing in Eddie O is analagous to the not ready for prime time NHL coaching gig handed off to Colliton
- jhawk59

We got a whole clubhouse full of novice pieces right now. I am talking about players, coaches ,GM's and VP's.
In my opinion Eddie O will be a big improvement. He is not a novice..it would not be his dance with evaluating talent.

Wrong wrong wrong. The Hawks fizzle and somehow end up with the #1 pic to replicate the #3 in 2006 and #1 in 2007. Focus man, focus.

That’s ridiculous. I remember that kid but then he vanished like a fart in the wind.

We used to have a lot of MODs around here. Including Vancouver one. Yetti

There has to be better choices. Someone who had managed a budget and negotiated contracts has a better resume. Not saying Eddie O would not be successful. I do however suggest that he might cave in and be too much kiss *as to McDonough. You need a GM who w9ill tell a coach, The pp with Kane calling the plays has not worked well for years. There is no man in front of net. And Keith is not whom you want on Pp. Change that; you have the GM's back. Which is a good thing as far as accountability.

You had Bowman screw up with contracts. You had a weak choice as new head coach. Make it a trifecta by going with a basicly inexperienced Eddie O. You think he is a smart guy. Would try really hard; knows the game. Golly gee, even a favorite of yours. I like him too even with his idiosyncrasies or phrases he is reknown. Nonetheless I wouldn't choose him as GM. You are welcome to your opinion and I bet there are others on this board whom would choose Olyzchuk. Which is cool because we are merely expressing our own unique perspective

Ha ha, and just like that he went through Rachel Welch, like most of us that grew up in the 70’s dreamt about. This great movie also has my favorite line ever “you can get busy living or you can get busy dying”.

Capfriiendly shows what each could get but not for what they get them for. If you click on a players name you can see there history of earnings which for the cat shows him getting 32,500 in p-bonus for this year
- Abadseed

Here's a primer on ELC bonuses.

https://puckpedia.com/ent...level-performance-bonuses

As an example Kubalik's total bonuses are worth $850,000 (per capfriendly) or $212,500 each for attaining any 4 of the 9 "A" categories listed. He's already at 20 goals so the Hawks are on the hook for at least $212,500. Maybe he'll also make the All Rookie Team category too.

From The Athletic's Mark Lazerus:

Mark Lazerus reports Duncan Keith has not been approached by Chicago Blackhawks management about waiving his no-movement clause. The 36-year-old defenseman indicates he wants to stay with the Blackhawks. Lazerus believes Keith will stay put as long as the club keeps aiming to reach the playoffs. He feels the veteran blueliner doesn’t want to be part of a lengthy rebuild.

Haven’t read any King in a long time. Been watching Outsider on HBO. Couple episodes behind but so far pretty good.

Since there aren’t any original movies anymore, maybe they could re-make Running Man. That was King or his pen name Bachman right?

Though if it’s as meh as Total Recall v2.0 was don’t bother. Think WW season 3 starts in a month. Really looking forward to that.

Saw that. He may unwittingly be part of one. As much as I like Keith, if someone wanted to give Stan a package of picks and prospects that incleuded a first rounder, I’d listen if Keith was willing to waive.

I got three months once and numerous multiple day bans courtesy of Fife (Eli). Think Elbows got a year. Source got three years and Ogi 4 for nothing more than saying "Hello" to Eli every/every other morning.

Even the HB Mods agreed that was silly and rescinded his ban.

No one was going nuclear on anyone...just dumb arguments for the most part.

- HawkintheD

Man, go pick up my mail order bride and miss all the fun.
I got 3 month ban for calling fife a douche nozzle and it was lengthened to 3 yrs for taunting him via pm....alternate ids were so much fun.....

Never too late. I won’t root for the team to lose tonight but it’s debatable what they could use more at this point.

With the recent struggles and losing streak they are now comfortably sitting back in a top 10 pick situation. May the Lottery and Hockey Gods bless us again in June.

Amen, hard to root against them, so whatever happens is okay by me. Any heart breaking loses should not impact the fan base, going forward win or lose, “que sera, sera”.

He's better than Bowman. After all Bowman sucks, I don't have any proof or anecdote to backup my assertion as it's not required here, I just know deep in my heart that Bowman sucks. If Murray loses his job the Hawks would be crazy not to fire Bowman and hire him because I know deep in my heart that Murray would be a great GM in Chicago.

Lol and Dach definitely should play this year in Saskatoon, I just feel strongly that's how it should be and I know that my thoughts are correct. Boqvist needs to marinate for years as well (not even a strong feeling, simply so obvious)

Ditto. I know that pisses off some people, but me blowing a gasket on here and having a blind inducing rage fit every time the team has a bad shift or allows a goal hardly solves anything.

Just looking to be entertained along the way and see the continued growth of Dach, Boqvist, Kubes and some others.

Exactly, and also looking forward to TDL and see what Stan does. Western Conference is not that strong, we can make a run next year. The young ones will have another year of experience, we’ll know more about Seabrook and Shaw, one of them will not be coming back from their injuries, Gus will be gone, De Haan should be back, maybe we get lucky with another top three pick, man my glass is over flowing.

Similar for me. When watching the game, I want them to win. I want those who are the future to play well. But I also believe they need a stud in the next draft, and odds are better the worse their record is. But it is just hockey at the end of the day; going nuts ain't going to do nothing.

Me, always being pro-Blackhawk, is guessing the upcoming draft is 15 players deep who can all be regular shift NHL players within 2 years, given current cap conditions. Those conditions being the trend toward every team having a few super high priced players and most of the rest very near their ELC contract dollar levels. The lunch bucket type NHL players are becoming rare.
