Don't give Dubas any ideas... We don't want him trading Andersen and then recalling Hutchinson for the 17th time this year

No Dumba please.
And Matthews misses Matt Martin apparently.
Not sure how Dubas missed that in his spreadsheets..

Funny how Andersen went from Vezina candidate to a bum in the mind of Leafs fans - in just 2 Months.
I've always said that Andersen is a good but not a great NHL starter, and his playoffs meltdowns don't give too much confidence.
However, he's a far better goalie than Jack Campbell.

I think the leafs need to give Andersen help throughout the year. They dump too much of the load onto him plus allow an insane number of shots. Can't blame the guy for being burnt out come playoff time.

Never was a fan of Andersen, too many soft goals, way too inconsistent although lately he has been consistently bad, always blames the team for his shyte play and never himself, a real ahole to reporters in more then one interview, never was a clutch goaltender. Lots to not like there. Just my opinion but never was a fan of his.

Good blog Lucas, I agree, Dumba would be a good add - depending on price, biggest issue is one of the most tradeable pieces got hurt last night. Freddy has been excellent most of the season - but............. needs to be better than last night. He's allowed more 5-hole goals than any goalie in the NHL this year. Maybe get him a five hole coach and not this guy.

sure - my comment wasn't so much in reaction to your opinion on him, but just in general.
all of the Andersen-fanboys all of a sudden disappeared it seems..
Andersen isn't as good as they pretended start of this season, nor is he as bad as people make him to be now.

Not true, but it was nice to see Clifford dish out a few noogies, especially after a couple of uncalled high hits, the one on Dermott and a couple on Marner.

Kerfoot and Kap are the traceable pieces on F.

The Leafs I think have always been in the market for a forward. I don’t think they have been too happy with the way their bottom 6 has preformed minus Spezza, Engvall and Kapanen when he decides to play.

They gave up 19 shots last night.. I won't fault him on the 3rd goal, it was a lucky bounce for the Stars. Ends up right on Seguin's stick..

That first goal, in the first minute on their first shot, geez, close them legs..

So which D should Leafs target this off-season?
and Freddy has an interesting contract with a 4mln signing bonus, and 1mln salary - but a modified non trade clause..
There aren't any better options available though.. so Leafs should probably still keep him, unless he really blows it next 25+ games and/or playoffs..

Missed last night's game, but on the whole they give up a lot of shots, and they're not scoring as much as they should. Andersen's a good goalie, but he's typically not a game breaker. What were they gonna do though? Offer Bob 10 mil?

I thought the Leafs played well, outside of the first 10 minutes of the game.. That Clifford fight, really woke them up. After that, it was all Leafs.. The refs gave Dallas a free powerplay in the 3rd, because it's the Leafs.
