Avs would probably target Petry.

From what I've read, it doesn't seem like Sakic wants to trade Byram.
But good poker players never show their hand. |

Post-game comments (paraphrasing).
Julien - " Although everyone thinks Weal and Cousins should automatically be the ones sitting out, he feels that Lehkonen could do better ...".
Gallagher - " This is a warning to the whole team".
Seems like Julien finally had enough and wants players to earn their ice time ... like it or not, that's coaching folks. |

I just find it strange that Sakic would trade away a regular from his team if he's going for a cup run. usually buyers will trade picks and prospects.
but since MB was there himself scouting... really weird |

Oh, there's something going on for sure ... we just don't know the details yet.
As you said, I would be very surprised if it involved a current Avs roster player because they are in a Cup run ... draft picks/prospects are the mostly outcome in my uninformed opinion.
At this point, high draft picks is what we need the most.
PS: One can only hope that Bergy finally realised that a full rebuild is needed ... (without saying it out loud in order to sell seats in the Bell Centre). |

Kaut was brought up and played his first NHL game while MB was there. 20 year old 16th overall pick. Could be looking at him. |

The problem is Lehkonen is not really an issue... there are a lot of other's who should be in the press box before him. |

I hear you, no arguments from me but the coach decided to start with him ...it is what it is, I'm sure Lehks will be busting his ass off next game, and others too I would imagine.
Coaching 101. |

Hard NO on Mete....whats wrong with people?.....SMH
Lehks is a team player....frustrating player but he's core with Gally and Danault....2 huge pieces in that room....they were pissed he was benched last night. Perhaps Julien has lost the team? |

I think at 20 years of age and considering he never had the opportunity to develop in the AHL...no you continue to develop him...his shot may be weak but he uses that stick and controls entries, and gets the O moving back out quickly and efficiently...creates plays...way too much upside...dude has at times played next to Weber....May not be ideal but he didn’t embarrass himself...so no...hard no on trading him....and he’s cute |

He's turning 22 in the offseason and he hasn't done anything to deem him untouchable |

I know it's a flawed stat...but Mete is a plus player every year. I'd still trade him (like almost everybody) for the right return, but I wouldn't trade him to trade him as I would with others |
