You forgot Dougie Weight for Carolina.

I think it depends on how the player fits on the ice and in the room.

There are some interesting possible adds out there and they are Krieder. I think FAs looking at possible big extensions don't fit well usually. If you add a guy you will have past the season then it tends to fit better.

Put in a claim for Timashov is what I would do.

I didin't forget Weight. He wasn't involved in a deadline deal as his deal was in January and the deadline that year was in March 9, almost 6 weeks earlier, giving him more than double the amount of time to assimilate with his team. This is a huge difference imho.

Wouldn't matter since the Red Wings claimed him.

I have only been able to watch a handful of games this year. I am curious to hear what the consensus opinion on Faulk is. I can see that he is having a down year on points.

I’d say this, so far I like Scandella more than Faulk. He is on the 3rd pairing for a reason. No offense and poor defense. H it seems he doesn’t read plays very well. Maybe it’s because he is used to the eastern conference. Western is different.

Who do you think is our best first round match-up? Dallas and Nashville scare me. Maybe Minnesota assuming we lock up the division? WPG?
