It's pure speculation by HSJ. She was Holland's press dummy. She doesn't have inside access to what Yzerman is thinking any more than we do. HSJ is trying to be relevant. She's been kicked to the curb. This is her trying to connect the dots. What's next? "Yzerman has ex teammate Greg Stefan on his radar to coach the Red Wings?" I'm sure Lambert is a solid Head coaching candidate but I won't believe anything Helene St. James says.

That's a good thing. We knew about Holland's interest in Mike Green and Stephen Weiss years before they were Red Wings. Plus Holland would always use his press dummies HSJ, Khan and Kulfan to justify his idiotic moves. Yzerman could care less about the lemming media.

It has really benefitted him in making moves. No one had him picking Seider. You don’t have to chew on what ifs for months, he just goes out and does it

And Murphy even went as far as saying they may have already been traded, or their close to a trade, or just being cautious. And interviewing Dylan Larkin post game, he acted like he was in mourning over the loss of two friends and teammates.
