They just got Haula. Nothing wrong with that and Wallmark another dependable solid forward. I like this move. They got two guys who go all out.

Man...tough look so far. Hopefully something in the way of a defenseman will still get worked out, but not sure. Seems like all the “big” targets in that dept. have been signed. Huge day for CAR. They went out and addressed a need.

I know. I was really expecting more this year.

Season over. Vinny probably told them that he is not spending any more money. Good move getting rid of Trocheck. If by some miracle they make the playoffs they will get blown away by whoever they play. One of the softest teams in NHL. Have no idea how they will fix defense for next year. What a waste.

I read Viola told Tallon to cut payroll 10 mil next year so he started a lil early

Boylen on Sportsmet ranks Florida as the biggest looser of the TDL “hands down”. Trading a 2C with a decent contract for a bunch of nothing, the best of which is a rental. Especially since they didn’t upgrade their biggest need on D. Strange move for a team only a couple points out of the playoffs.

Nobody on Sportsnet has seen a Panthers game unless they are playing the Leafs. I'm not thrilled with the lack of defense picked up but not disappointed in the Trocheck removal
