Tell me again, whats Colorado's record against the Wild the past 5 seasons...

Ya know what? The hell with it, LET'S GO WILD!!!! I hope the Wild win out the rest of the season now (yeah, I know, they won't) and jump into the playoffs. Then Captain K will glare at everyone in the lockerroom, making them up their performance on the ice tenfold. Next thing we know, they are entering the Stanley Cup Championship series. Come from nowhere...finishing out on top. All because they want to win 1 for Koivu.

I still want most of this roster changed over, but that's not going to happen for the rest of this season, so now I just want them to win...win every game...win a Cup!

Forgot to give a Iowa update...anyone notice that Kaapo has 4 shutouts in his last 10 games? He is 9-1 over his last 10 games. Something tells me he (and the entire team) is on fire right now. Looks like the Iowa Wild are charging and trying to catch Milwaukee for 1st place in their division, being only 6pts out. Guess they are starting to have a winning atmosphere down on the farm. But Kaapo is starting to look like he might be the real deal.

Others of note...of course Mayhew and Anas are still going strong, leading the AHL in scoring at 63 pts for Anas and 61 for Mayhew (how currently sits at 39 goals). But Brennan Menell has moved into the Top 20 in scoring as well, sitting in a tie for 16th with 43 pts. He just might be making something of himself. Kind of like a Jared Spurgeon run. Let's hope so. Nico Sturm appears to be figuring out the game as well, as he is sitting with 32 pts now. And there is now a positive Dmitri Sokolov sighting, as he is now up to 15 goals (22 pts) and is on a 5 games scoring streak. So there is a little bit of something for the future....possibly.

Tell me again, whats Colorado's record against the Wild the past 5 seasons...

Our cup window just opened, made it to the second round last year because the “big 3” carried us , way more depth this year and years to come. The Avs will probably have a cup or two by the time parise’s and Suter’s contracts are up lol

No matter what happens the Avs have a young core with multiple superstars , a team that is ready to compete for the next decade. The Wild will be the Wild, instead of embracing a rebuild you guys will be a bubble playoff team that will draft mid round again and again and again! You know the definition of insanity..........

And once again what have the Avs done really in the last decade? Yeah the Avs have good players that have consistently underperformed so that they've missed the playoffs altogether or have been bounced early. Next year the Wild get Kaprizov over who may become the best player in the central, who knows? Until the young guys on the Avs get them deep into the playoffs they haven't done anything!

That doosh has been trolling the Wild blog for months now, just hoping to get someone to spar with him... I guess his feelings are still hurt from the 2013/14 playoffs...

Simply put...if your team ain't got a Cup, then ya just need to shut up. If it's bragging rights someone wants to talk about, then be team vs team. but if ya haven't won a Cup, you don't have a leg to stand on. So what if you have made the playoffs? So have the Wild...and more consistently in the near past. But that's in the past and they never won a Cup. It's all about the Cup.

He's been throwing out his little barbs all season waiting for someone to engage him... i've been ignoring it, because as good a team as Colorado is, my guess it they are hitting the links shortly after the Wild do this off season...
