I appreciate all your posts. I have no idea of your age but your first paragraph is like an article in the old National Lampoon magazine. It was called "Trees in Sepia", written through the eyes of an infant who kept pulling out poo from his diaper and "painting" a mural on his wall. Made me howl thinking of something funny from almost fifty years ago. need something humorous trying to watch the Wings this year. By the way, Wings in 1970-71,22-45-11 for 55 points dead last in the east. Jeezuz!

I appreciate it! I’m mid 40s, but my step dad was British. Through him we were fed an unhealthy diet of Monte Python, “The Limerick”, and he certainly was an enthusiast for National Lampoon. one evening, as we gathered at the table, dad asked us to bow our heads and said, “Lord, for what we are about to receive may we have an explanation”. Mom didn’t appreciate it nearly as much as we did. Sarcasm became fused into my DNA

AA with a goal and an assist his first night playing for Edmonton on their top line. Gee.. I'm shocked (insert sarcasm). Good grief... it's like salt in the wound for that trade... which I still think was a bad deal for the Wings.

I feel you. But, on a line with McDavid for bits. Where on earth would he have a similar opportunity. Shut out and hurt second game

Interesting... hadn't heard that about his second game. Really hope the scouting staff can find a diamond in the rough with either of those second rounders we got for him (not too optimistic since I heard they are not high 2nd rounders). If at least one of them could turn into a good bonafide NHL player I'd be happy. Maybe Hakan Andersson can work some magic again in Europe. That sure would be nice.

After that gem of performance against Minnesota, I'll be watching the Griffins this weekend and hope they can clinch a playoff spot within the next few weeks. That Nagle kid (goalie) has impressed me each time he plays. He's not great in shootouts... but he looks very solid in net and I think he'll take over the starter job in GR if he keeps playing this good.

Lindstrom also a 2nd round. Berggren as well, not sure how he’s developing
