Jan another excellent write up, since that first game where Fox sidestepped a forchecker to get the puck out I knew he was gonna be something special my kid and I have been thinking he deserves to at the very least be in Calder conversation.

Panarin definitely deserves serious consideration for the Hart. 2 points tonite and didn't even have a shot on goal!

Fox definitely deserves serious consideration for the Calder. Certainly doesn't play like a rookie on the youngest team in the league.

Quinn has done a FANTASTIC job. But if Columbus somehow gets into the playoffs, John Tortorella deserves to win the Jack Adams. How that skeleton crew continues to win games mystifies me.

Gauthier got moved up in the third period and played very well. He is noticeable on most shifts. I hope we continue to see him get more minutes as the season carries on.

HUGE game later today. LETS GO RANGERS!

well the truth with Columbus is that they haven't continued to win

1-4-5 in last 10

they are literally built on loser points

when they fell behind 2-0 I started thinking that it just wasn't going to be their night, Price was just playing too good, and unfortunately no matter how much fun its been, losing is going to be such a crusher towards the playoff push.

then Fox makes an incredible Leetch like move and pass and gets them right back into the game

and then they play just an absolutely dominant 3rd period

watching them just take over the game when they had to was a real eye opener

we really are a good team

To put this crazy run in perspective, we are currently 10 pts behind the caps. Just a couple weeks ago, we were almost that far back just from the wild card.

Not sure if you saw, but your boy Hayes has his own beer now in Philly. You can have Hayes inside you now whenever you want []

ARGH! So conflicted!
Must have, but must not try until the season series is over.

That's crazy!
No way Hank starts another game this season. Don't know if Quinn planned on starting Georgie tonight or after his performance tonight, but Hank's mind must be in a dark place right now after being relegated to back up.

I noticed last night they showed the clip of everybody happy entering the locker room after the game and Hank looked quite stoic

Yes it looked like they were skating in mud for more than half the game, but even when they were down 2 to nothing thinking about the game we were down 4 to 0 I just couldn’t bring myself to worry. Now had it been a good team could have been issues, but not Montreal.

one of the most amazing things about Panarin is that even when he's shut down and almost invisble for 50 minutes, all of a sudden he can take over and become the best player on the ice for 10 minutes

opponents can contain him for awhile, but it exhausts them and it's nearly impossible to contain him for a full 60 minutes

So far twice this season the boys came together rallied for the goalie and beat the Habs, in 15 years when have they done this for Hank in Montreal?

well they did win two terrific playoff series over Montreal in 2014 and 2017 and Hank was great in those series but they did also score some timely goals

but Hank in his prime never had anyone like Panarin, even with Jagr it never felt like this

2005-06 Jagr's record breaking year was absolutely amazing but that season just felt so weird with all the penalties every two seconds.

He’ll be on the bench again

It’s obvious they’ve either completely lost faith in him or are purposely pissing him off so he’ll want out next year

honestly, in a pinch, I think I'd have more faith in JF Berube in net than Hank right now

Hank in net right now is like Hank on Sept 29th
