This is the ultimate consequence of dismissing legitimate news media as fake just because people don't like what they're reporting, or cherry picking facts and dismissing others that don't line up with the view you'e trying to sell. Both political parties in the states are guilty of this. It's led to a climate where people are more susceptible to buy into bogus stories they find on the internet, or simply pick and chose which news cycle they want to follow based on what they already want to believe, instead of actually doing their research and finding the actual truth which is always somewhere in the middle. One these news networks needs to get their rump, chuck any political bias and report things the way they actually are, and that way sane rational people will actually have a place to go to get actual news from.
This is the biggest problem in he world today. There's no middle ground anymore, nobody's allowed to have a balanced opinion, because if you don't completely fall on one side of the argument you're immediately the enemy and we hate you, and anything you say is going to go in one ear and out the other.

Yeah, no. Bothsideism is exactly what the problem is. Both sides are not doing this. Let's not mince words, the GOP has been peddling conspiracy theories for years and now they've put a tin-foil wearing moron in the White House.
Remember, last week the virus was the latest Democrat hoax. They also think climate change is not real. Birtherism, Alex Jones and thinking the school shooting was "crisis players", the guy Hillary supposedly killed, the child sex ring run out of a pizza place. And those are just the big ones. 1984 is actually playing out before our eyes, but "both sides". Give me a break.
I'm so glad that my elderly parents have been put at risk because some people think both sides do this garbage.
