Gauthier wasn't brought here to be a 4th liner.

Hoping he ends up on third line, but possible he sees some time on the fourth line. Will depend on who is back and brought in.

Don't have an issue with McKegg, the energy level is always there. Just wish he didn't look like a new born fawn skating on ice.

Kegger was good for Carolina when he got called up in the playoffs, and hasn't been bad here. Like Jan said, missing guys like Dom and Boyle on the 4th line.

Parking lot at the trail head yesterday was the most crowded I've ever seen it. Only took the end of the world to get people unplugged and outside. Can't wait for this to end so nuts like me can have the trails to ourselves again.

I can't really complain about McKegg, but I'm pretty neutral on him. I really want to see Barron given a shot to break camp next year and he would be the de facto fourth line center if he can. That also doesn't consider if they try Howden at center again, if the bridge isn't really burned with Lias, or even if that guy we just signed makes a push. I'm OK with having Mckegg around as cheap insurance, but I don't think it's a necessity to resign him either.

Same way I feel. Sign him for next season, though I expect one of the kids or Howden to take his spot.

Nothing wrong with having a high energy two way center playing 4th line at 750k. As long as he stays defensively responsible and takes the body

The reality is we have so many young kids here or that will be here shortly. Very important that guys spend time in Hartford to learn the pro game, and not learning on the 4th line.

Vets like Mckegg are needed.

You wouldn't think we would have that much wildlife in a beach town. I just wish the foxes would start eating the raccoons
