So NHL Central Scouting had Jake Sanderson ranked ahead of Rossi and Perfetti.

Wow.

The 2 million number was nowhere near anywhere in the rest of the world and assumed that everyone would give it to everyone they came into contact with, regardless of whether the other individual already had it or not. The problem with the model wasn't that they were given, it's that they ignored a number of factors, and threw people into bigger panic than they needed to.
- buffalofan19

It has also been well documented that the italian population eats a far healthier diet, and fewer of their population suffers from obesity and diabetes, etc.

So maybe they didn't ignore those factors they were just outweighed by other considerations, or other subtleties that are beyond your knowledge or focus.

I don't have any problem with people deciding to take on risk as long as they are the only ones who face the potential consequences of that risk. So if you decide with a bunch of other risk takers that you want to sit together for hours in a closed and sealed atmosphere like a plane, recirculating one another's contagions the whole time, all for the opportunity to be warm, I say knock yourself out, except for the fact that once you get to Florida, you'll go to the grocery store, just like all the nice old ladies who are only doing that because they want to eat food - and I don't like the idea that their decision to eat food exposes them to the same level of risk as your decision to sit on the plane because you feel like you're entitled to bask in the sun.

For my 2 cents.

So funny that the amount of credit our President gets is on so many people's minds. Not to worry, he takes a least 75% of every press briefing to tell us all what a great job he's doing. And what the bloody heck is Jared fracking Kushner doing as part of our government's answer to this? I suppose everyone on the right would be fine with Chelsea Clinton being a top adviser and heading up our nation's pandemic respond team...πŸ˜…πŸ˜…πŸ˜…. Why not get Lindsey Graham's gardner to lead the CDC while we're at it?
- LandlordTom

When this dust settles I'm sure we will realize that his gardner would have been just as effective.

Just eye opening that's where we are with our country when people want citizens and families arrested for demonstrating their basic civil liberties. Where is there concrete data that even proves social distancing works, everything right now is assumptions. What needs to end is this mass hysteria. The "models" have gone from 2MM deaths, to 200,000, to 100,000 and now it looks like around 65,000, HUH. As a result of this the deaths associated with the combination of suicides, delays in early detection screenings and loss of healthcare because of unemployment will dwarf that of 65,000 I can guarantee that. But when we overcome this, nobody on the left side of the aisle will give an ounce of credit to the President. Next up will be an investigation into his "handling" of the virus as well as them hammering the "Trump Recession".

Good lord.
Sitting on a beach 50 feet apart is better than sitting home.

You do realize you can Affect people by walking on the beach right? This is probably the same mindset other people have and they walk on the beach and spread the virus

You can also do that at the grocery store.
You can also do that while walking your dog in the neighborhood.
You can also get it by getting your mail.
