Jeff Paul: Could a 24-Team Format Benefit the Golden Knights? Pierre LeBrun reports that a 24-team playoff format is being discussed, among other restart options, by the NHL and NHLPA.

Curious as to just how bad the ice would be in Vegas in the middle of the summer.....ice was awful when the Stanley Cup Finals stretched into late May in 2018,
and it's hard to imagine it would be any better now. Obviously would be great to get the teams out there to finish the season and put at least some non-playing personnel back to work, but it would seem likely we'll probably see a few of the Vegas games change on weird puck bounces.

They claim it wouldn't be an issue, but I can't say I disagree with the sentiment.

Every other NHL rule change by Bettman has benefited the G-Showers. Why wouldn’t this too?
