Sucks all teams are not include. Now those teams players will not be on competitive ice for a very long time .

How will draft work??

Will 7 non playoff teams get lottery picks only?? So they get top 7 picks.

will rest of draft be altered from final standings??

Why would bottom teams vote for this playoff scenario??

The Pro Soccer League reported that 2 to 3 players have tested positive for C-19.
The table is set, lets see how this gets handled.

I've heard that 5 points which is the new Ducks facility in Irvine was contacted for the Vegas hub for practice / off days and preparation skates ... They have 4 or 5 sheets all contained and its only 20 minute flight from John Wayne to Vegas.. So it seems things are moving right along.

I think actually doing the season is the best thing for said draft Ottawa with 2 picks out of the seven sports and Detroit only having one, who has really dogged the season might get screwed based on SJ and Ottawa? I am not sure that's an overly fair concept when really any team can move up in league rankings BUT Detroit.

I don't have a horse in this race but really it is unfair I believe to just head to the playoffs thinking all about revenues, you could easily be damaging future revenues by making them now.

why would they need more then 3 weeks to restart the season if they only needed 3 weeks to start the season?

Does the last week in June allow the players enough time to get into some form of game shape?

Usually before the season opens players had been skating even prior to training camps that's why you don't see as much as years in the past where players passes where not crisp and players looking winded.

Which bottom teams? The bottom seven would have better math for their pick. The rest have a chance to win the Cup. This year more than any other is the ultimate crapshoot. The bottom four teams all have lineups and goalies that could win it all if they come out firing on all cylinders, especially if they don't reseed after the first round.

Looking forward to next season, the fake playoffs not so much.

Why not have 24 teams EVERY year? You know - so ALL the crappy teams have a chance.

Heck - let's roll back to the exapnsion era and set up a Conference for the bottom dwellers so one of them automatically makes the SCF. Sounds awesome - right?
