Imagine if Brett Pesce is actually ready too? It's possible...

Andrei Svechnikov - Sebastian Aho - Teuvo Teravainen
Nino Niederreiter - Vincent Trochek - Martin Necas

Ryan Dzingel - Morgan Geekie/Jordan Martinook - Brock McGinn

Jaccob Slavin - Dougie Hamilton
Brady Skjei - Brett Pesce
Haydn Fleury - Sami Vatanen
Jake Gardiner - TVR
Joel Edmundson

I still have Edmundson playing left-side on the third pairing, but I think we'll just have to agree to disagree on that one haha.

I hope he never plays for them again.
I really enjoyed his style when he first joined the team, but as the season carried on he seemed to get slower and more easily exposed.

That's fair, I think he was in too large of a role and my thinking is that with a strong top-four, he may do well in a limited role. He was playing the fourth-most minutes of Blues defenders in the playoffs last year, so I'd at least start him over Fleury based on playoff experience.

I think it's likely, better than 50-50 the Canes will win! Defense is very good, and deep!
Secondly, Trocheck should be an upgrade to the offense!

Hurricanes have signed a 5 year lease extension, keeping the team in Raleigh through 2029.

Plan is to make use the time to continue negotiating on whether it's feasible to do more arena upgrades or build a new arena.
