Give this kid about two to three more years he will be a great pick .

I also seen a comparison to Hossa and Landeskog. My comparison would be Hertl.

I think Hoglander will make the team next year for a few reasons and Podkolzen the next year. Hope they both have really big years.

I was thinking Tyler Motte. They both play a very similar style and leave nothing on the ice. Amazing attitude!

Podz can dish the puck better but they both play that bulldog style. He will be more effective with Podz being bigger.

Thanks Carol! Podz sure os exciting go to watch grow, one more season and he comes over. Hoggie next year. JB has done one hell of a job!

My gut feeling is Toffoli walks (unfortunately) for more money. Hoggie steps into the top6 right out the gate. Bold prediction! Could we have 4 Calder candidates in a row?!

Cap space 17 mil 23 man roster currently 14

Marky 5
TT 4.9
Gauds 1.5
Briesbois 700K
Rafferty 700 k
Zack 800 K
Hoglander 900K
Motter 1.0
Jake 1.5

To sign a Tanev type player you need to make a move , either trade , LTIR or something. I think there will be players moved . There is your cap compliant roster

I heard a few times yesterday Benning might be in consideration for GM of the year. I would laugh so hard.

Quinn Hughes rookie performance, Miller and TT trade, a jump in the standings... it deserves the conversation at least.

I'm not sure Myers is too praise worthy not that it's a black mark either...

I think Brock's re-up was noteworthy though. It was a very reasonable contract and term was very sensible. The complete opposite of the media hype... Benning did very well there I think.

I think JB had a very good year and reached expectations. Everyone said Canucks would be a bubble team and they met expectations . A six spot jump is nothing to sneeze at. I think they will jump another six next year. TOP 10

A funny story about a pic with my face covered. I used a pic of me fishing in Mexico as a profile/user image for a strategy game. It was just a head shot but I had a buff over my face to protect me from the sun and a brand name fishing hat on. The Buff was white with small trout flies printed on it. Someone complained and the game mods took it down. When I asked for an explanation to why, they told me they dont condone terrorism and if I try and put another image like it up, I'll be banned.

Sounds like a few of our knee jerkers here.
