Pardoned. After he served his jail sentence.

That's 100% different then commuting a sentence before it starts.

I'm sure you knew that though

If their mission stays restricted to what would be considered the legal provinces of Federal agencies, then there's no issue. If you have an issue with that, i would suggest you urge your representatives to introduce legislation that will limit Federal power. They are certainly not "the same thing as the SS". That is hysterical nonsense.
- SoCalPucks

You declaring my comparison to the SS is not hysterical nor is it nonsense. The Federal government overstepped their authority. Period.

If it was, they would have been out in the street, with uniforms and identified themselves instead of hiding in the shadows.

So many keyboard warrior tough guys on this board who have zero clue about law enforcement, but who want to tell us all how smart they are about it anyways. The guys in camo work on the southern border, preventing illegal aliens (who you guys all love) from illegally entering the country. they were redeployed to protect Federal Property that Portland law enforcement refuses to defend. They ALL have markings on their uniforms, except for last names, because leftist douchebags think it's ok to doxx people. Beetlejuice in Chicago is doing nothing for her city so we'll be going in there now too. Federal agents were on the ground in almost every "peaceful protest" after Floyd. Federal Law Enforcement has code authority to do exactly what they're doing, especially when local leaders refuse to protect their citizens or property.

Any blame to China on how many lives would be saved right now if they admitted there was a problem last October and communicated to the world? More people were against travel bans than for, even the WHO recommended no travel bans. I don’t like him or care for him and think he’s a joke of a governor but if Andrew Cuomo aggressively shut down travel from both China and Europe into NYC airports early on he would be president in November.

honest questions...as uniformed (i assume) law enforcement, what's your take on the federal government sending in unmarked agents (along with unmarked vehicles) into Portland to arrest protesters?...and how do you feel about federal law enforcement descending upon the city without the consent of either the mayor or the governor of Oregon?
- Michael Pachla
honest question.

Did you go through CNN Training? You pose a loaded question with false information like it is fact, lol.

Thanks. It helps to throw out some actual knowledge, facts, and truth sometimes. And it's absolutely true that Lori Lightfoot looks like Beetlejuice.

You're welcome to your opinion. My post was factual, trying to correct the narrative that unidentified feds (they're all identified) are descending upon cities (they were lawfully redeployed) to arrest people indiscriminately (they're lawfully protecting federal buildings and property from Peaceful Protesters throwing frozen water bottles, fireworks, paint, rocks, and any other peaceful thing).

I believe as a taxpayer, I own Federal Property.

Im good with it.

All I said is that it is not the place of the Federal Government.

- atlsabsfan

I really never thought think I would need to point out how completely asinine a policy that would allow people to burn down federal property, whenever the whims of the mob demand it, would be. But here we are. This is what you are proposing.

Maybe to vote. Maybe for a clear conscience. Maybe because he was arrested and charged for process crimes during an investigation that never should have even happened because all the people who started the investigation knew there was nothing there but did it anyways. Gotta be one or more of those.

Comparing those officers actions to the SS is, first of all, an historically inaccurate analogy. What you mean is the Gestapo. Secondly, hyperbole like that is a deep disservice to the actual survivors of the holocaust. Arresting someone for damaging Federal property, and then releasing them an hour later after they refuse to waive their Miranda rights is not, in any way, comparable to the crimes against human rights that the Gestapo was responsible for. You sound like a buffoon. I cannot make it any plainer than that.

Protesters in Portland, Oregon, doxed dozens of federal law enforcement officers, according to reports, with demonstration leaders encouraging those receiving the information to visit officers’ homes.

Federal Protective Service Deputy Director of Operations Richard Cline revealed the doxing in a press conference late Tuesday, as a way of explaining why Customs and Border Patrol agents, helping to quell the riots in Portland and defend the city’s federal courthouse, were not wearing badges that featured their names — only the CBP insignia
