watched a few innings of a ball game last night, the mask kept coming off his face

really had no purpose

It has a purpose to save lives if professional teams don't understand this they shouldn't be playing so they're not spreading the virus more

Yikes those are (frank)ing horrible are they a lacrosse team smh
- gerbe75pts

It does look like a lacrosse jersey to be honest... A bit gimmicky for a league with as rich tradition as the NHL. Even still, there was some legit concept art online. Coulda gotten a more aggressive logo out of this mascot.

So while we’re on topic, might as well get down to brass tacks...

Who are they taking from Buffalo in the expansion draft? If the Sabres have so few players under contract that they really just about protect everyone, do they still have to protect everyone?

The twins would cost like $3m each

Larry Lazar and Larry Asplund are much cheaper

Large Larry will probably round out the trio because nobody is trading for large larry

Per Vogl, The Athletic:

Pittsburgh
The perennial Cup contenders are in cap trouble every year, yet they still manage to add players and win. But with eight RFAs – including the goalie tandem of Matt Murray and Tristan Jarry – something has to give.

Realistic target: Nick Bjugstad.

There’s always a concern with the words “spinal surgery,” which Bjugstad underwent in May to repair a herniated disc, but the risk to the Sabres is minimal. The 6-foot-6 center has just one year left on his $4.1 million contract before becoming a UFA. If healthy, Bjugstad is another option who’d allow Cozens and Mittelstadt to ease into the lineup.

NHL teams?
Those teams who are tested to get into the bubble.
Those teams that are then tested daily/every-other-day while in the bubble.
Those teams that then quarantine players who test positive?
You want players on those teams to wear a mask?
WTF!
That makes very, very little sense
