he had his moments where he just wowwed with his natural abilities...not nearly enough and he had a lot of issues on defense, which wasn't all that unexpected considering he had similar problems in sweden...

I won’t lie and pretend I wasn’t expecting a few more goals.

However, you can see the glimpses of the generational ability he has, and like the other posters on here this evening, I don’t take the fact that he’s produced pretty substantial assist/point totals as a teenager lightly (especially considering the team as a whole did not score a lot of goals)

We’re a lot of them secondary assists ? Sure. However I believe his ability to dictate the PP is in the top percentile in the league (alike Quinn Hughes).

Imagine how good the Eichel, Dahlin, Olofsson trio at the top of the umbrella is going to be once teams have to respect Dahlin’s shot. It’s going to be a cheat code.

I really think Eichel, Olofsson, Dahlin is going to be this decades Stammer, Hedman, kucherov and we are going to have a dynamite PP.

Figure out the PK situation. Find a goalie who can be a 1A/1B with Ullmark (whom I still think has room to improve as goalies usually enter their peak seasons around 28 years old).

Hopefully Adams can find a short term 2C that can be a nice depth 3C once Cozens is ready to play the middle (or Rossi/Lundell if we select either of them this year).

I know it has been a painful past few years and perhaps I’m too optimistic but this team is a few moves (shrewd moves at least) from really breaking out and being a powerhouse for years to come.
