That's flat out wrong about Miller not looking good in Ralph's system, as he did the 2nd part of the season.

Ristolainen is the other player in addition to Montour that didn't look good.

It was even worse when they were paired together.

Both should be traded to allocate that money towards the forwards.

Jack had his best season last year with VO
He didn't want to beat the same drum that led them to nowhere with one line the year before
VO was productive on the first line, keeps his head up and can pass a bit something Skinner can't do
With Skinner on line 2 he should have has some semblance of a productive line
Wanted to help VO's develop on line one which it certainly did more than being on line two.

Not that baffling if you think about it.

I think vesey is fine

but our coach doesn't use him properly

he should be a third line winger, second team pp, second team pk

a player like him need 18 minutes a night, and a center that can feed the puck

A decent 2nd line center won't save them any money, will no doubt cost them more money unless he is in his first contract. A bit surprised you are willing to give up a first, I hope it would be top ten or top eight protected.

I'd only play Cozens at center and on the third line initially and play Thompson on the second. I like some of what I have seen of Thompson.

A. The first line was worse this year than last year.

B. You should definitely credit Eichel individually getting better every year of his career so far to Olofsson, and not his natural development
