Agreed, there is a difference between being able to drive a line versus having to do everything yourself

The only winger i can think of that fits what you’re saying is when Pitt traded for Kessel & played him on line3
- jdfitz77

Look no further then that exact same team playing tonight.

I won’t give you any hints though. I’ll let you do the dirty work.

Kilorn plays in their top6
Armia & Stephan spent significant time in the top6
Staal, Copp & Nyqvist are good examples,
but like i said... it’s rare

And it would’ve been impossible to do last year bc of how much we had to play our “4th line”

And again...
we had no Center who could “dish the puck” to play with Vesey, a point you keep ignoring

And this all goes back to your original point,
being all pissy bc we traded a 3rd for him so now we can’t offersheet

If offersheets actually happened,
then I’d be with ya
But I’ll start believing in them when they start happening more than once every couple of years

I’m not disagreeing with you. I think there are only a handful of players worth that contract.

Jeff Skinner is not one of them.

If he was anything remotely close to Patty Kane and deserved to be in the same sentence we wouldn't be comparing him to a 7th round pick and how he lost his 1st line position to him and how he was traded for basic crap from his previous team to get him out the door.

putting skinner with johansson and sobotka is like putting reinhart between pouliot and griffith

if they wanted to split up skinner and jack

given the crap they had, should have been skinner, casey, and johansson for the second line

vesey-larsson-shearry for the third line

girgens-e-rod/sobotka-okposo

I think the plan was to eventually move Mitts up to that spot
But he just struggled again so much last year

I completely agree with your 1st sentence

Who disagrees?

He is however worth 7-7.5 mil per, as an elite 5 on 5 goal scorer and chance generator.

and voice my opinion that vesey was under used

You even know this isn’t accurate

Krueger himself has said that Skinner is one of the only other guys who can drive scoring away from Eichel and that’s why he wants them on separate lines.

Olofsson who just scored 20goals in his 54gams rookie season will be “in & out of the lineup”
while u have Tage in his LW spot with 10goals in 107games

Makes tons of sense

Of course u are
Idk why you’re taking it so personally?
It’s just rare for a 3rd liner to get that much icetime
And almost impossible to do so when u need to play line4 as much as we did

The reason i brought Vesey up in the 1st place is bc i remembered u liking him, but now are upset we traded for him

I just listed a bunch of third liners getting well over 17 minutes a night

vesey can score goals, should be on the second team pp

vesey can kill penalties

add that to a typical third line 5 on 5 ice time and it's between 17 and 18 minutes a night

vesey had the same number of 5 on 5 goals as olofsson this season
