Thanks, Bill!
I'm kind of psyched about tomorrow's game. Unfortunately, I'm stuck in Ontario since they closed the borders. Doesn't look like the Flyers, Pens game is being offered. Just the 4 Canadian teams that night. But everything else us on SN.
I am so stoked to have freaking hockey back. God this has been hell.

I believe the Flyers thinking with Lindblom is put him on the roster, and if they make a deep run he can potentially be an option. Also, having him there and with the team will serve as motivation.

Sitting here in my makeshift home office, forced to work from home, in the middle of summer, while watching playoff hockey in the middle of the day is going to be odd. Cool but odd.

During the season NAK was far and away the best and most effective forechecker on the team. I seriously doubt he is not a fixture on the 4th line.

He definitely should be for now. However, he's a player who can't get cozy and content, he needs to keep pushing and not let up. If he can do that, no reason to sit him out.

I wouldn't necessarily go with the lineup it looks like they're going to use (I'd definitely be starting Farabee) but right now, I'm just happy that we'll have hockey to watch.

Will for sure be odd to watch hockey in summer but man thank God for WFH; imagine being stuck in an office with all the games when the real games start. Productivity could take a hit once the games start lol

i see those pics from travel day yesterday at the airport. get those boys some kn95 masks if the n95s are unavailable. i am not a fan of those surgical masks. while better than nada, they are not the best team can do imho. cant wait for hockey to restart.

Farabee had issues scoring during the season as well. Believe it attributed it him being moved down the lineup.

Iirc, it was attributed to him being a rookie player.

He was often in the right place at the right time, which was more important and the goals, according to conventional wisdom, would come with time.

I don't understand why the 4rth line cannot be Farabee-Raffl-NAK. Why does Thompson have to play? Why can't he be the 13th?

I sure hope the bubble works. Only took a few days for the MLB to get messed up. Way to go Marlins. /facepalm

I'm torn in believing we're the team to beat and questioning our depth again. Grant on the third line and Thompson on the fourth line. I think it would be ideal for Grant to be our fourth line center, Thompson being an extra forward and if Frost is truly deserves to be here, slot him in. If Farabee and Frost are going to be here, why be spectaculars? With this said, if Lindblom could play, we would be much deeper and the two kids would be a nine factor. The only 100% faith I have with the kids right now is in Aube-Kubel.

Knowing that one mess up could possibly ruin everything I'm wondering how/why a team/player/staff member could be careless enough to allow himself/herself to be compromised.

They should be punished for not making the right call and for arguably not following the MLB procedure in place. NBA bubble is working so far. Key word so far

I think we can definitely go on a run. It’s hard to say though because there has been so much downtime. I have faith in AV having the team ready to compete though.

I honestly think we have as good a chance as anyone which is something I haven’t felt about this team in a long time.

Baseball is totally different with all the travel, feel like they are doomed honestly. NHL and nba have a much better chance of being successful.

Oh definitely. MLB players aren’t in a bubble so I’m not really surprised it happened. NHL and NBA are set up far better imo.

Considering how many false positives and mistakes there have been I would be amazed that some if not all of the tests turned out to be wrong. Especially in a team from Florida where they were over blowing the positive test by orders of magnitude.

When's the last time the Flyers had lefty-righty for all 3 dman pairs?!
And according to this article, it's really 5 if you look down the lineup.
With how they replenished their system and how they're coached,
and what must be an amazing vibe of having Oskar Lindblom back with the team,
I'm stoked- go Flyers!

Especially since the testing sight where it was done was so close to a 5G tower. Plus Fauci was in Philly the other week carrying around a briefcase full of vials like that dude from 12 Monkeys. Coincidence?
