The NHL doesn't have an ownership stake in the Coyotes, so why would they be meddling and trying to get Chiarelli a job? Was the mythical "NHL" pushing Chiarelli as a candidate for other GM jobs, or just the Coyotes job for random reasons? You clearly worked up about. Every article makes some reference to how inept Chiarelli is, but do you have any evidence that Coyotes management is being influenced by the NHL to hire him?
