I don't think he was trying to end his career. But I do believe he intended to do "something." Tkachuk has a long history of doing alot of "something's." He walks that line which buys him time and space on the ice.

I wouldnt ever say a team lost solely because of a coach but sometimes the coach can play a big part of why a team isnt successful. Blues went from dead last to cup winners after a coaching change. It does impact a teams success or lack of.

Regardless of what you think of Tkachuk, I find it hard to believe any player would do that intentionally. They do a lot of (frank)ed up stuff, but a skate blade to what looked like the Achilles? I like to think there is a line and that would be so far and above beyond that line.

UI ski team. Skied Monday to Friday when the car made it up the hill. Brought my lunch and two joints every day. Met my first wife going up the chairlift. She was at the Lodge with her family, went back to NYC after their week and then ran away from home to join me.
