They are both OK. EA sports has an EDM-PIT final with the Oil in 6...all good.

Obviously Edmonton. They looked terrible in every area of the game. Pittsburgh at least looked decent and could've won the game. 6-4 was a complimentary score to the Oiler...they were man handled.

Edmonton. Chicago has championship pedigree, Edmonton is still learning how to win. This series isn't as mismatched as people have been saying.

Edmonton. Pittsburgh has been there before and won't panic. That said, I think both favorites will still win their series.

Pittsburgh should be more concerned. Hawks caught the Oilers off-guard, and if they consistently let up 4 a game (which, I can assure you, the defense will let this happen), they won't win the series. Price can steal the series just like he stole game 1.

Oilers got caught watching the game, coaching will adjust and get them engaged. Smith needs to settle down stay in net quit flopping all over.

Pittsburgh, will be just fine.

Teams will heat up as they get deeper, can’t judge right now.

Edmonton. Chicago has far more playoff depth and experience and Edmonton had to be reliving playoff failures of the past. I predicted a Montreal overtime win in the first game .. followed by the consecutive losses to Pittsburgh ... Then we can rightfully select the second coming first overall in October!

By Rumours do you mean the long awaited rumour chart you promised over a month ago. The rumour better not be that if the Leafs are eliminated and land the #1 pick will than trade Nylander for help on D.

My bank account is in trouble after buying a Lafreniere LA Kings jersey, these useless virtual reality goggles, and a trip to Vegas hoping to see some Western Conference players blowing their millions in the casinos.

Edmonton. Chicago might have enough pedigree to carry them through

Edmonton is in far more trouble, Pittsburgh should have won (and probably deserved to win) while Edmonton should have shown up for the first 55 minutes of the game. Plus, (sadly) Pittsburgh is an actual.. you know.. good team. The Oilers are still the Oilers.

We've been getting bombarded with the statistic that 85% of the teams that win the first game go on to win a best of five series. I'm feeling (and it makes me slightly nauseous) that the Penguins are 15 percenters.

I am very worried that Chicago will actually sweep the Oilers. I was accused of being too worried about this when the ridiculous 24team format came out, but here it is, and I told you so.

EDM finished 1pt behind DAL and their reward is to play the Chicago Blackhawks...Toews, Kane, Keith, Seabrook...along with all of these new young studs like Dach, Kubalik, etc...and their MVP is probably Crawford actually.

Unfortunately, I think it's over already.

PIT should be okay as Montreal just doesn't have the depth and talent.

Plus according to EK the Caps are an old aging team and in serious trouble.

It's a short series....both teams now have to win 3 of 4 to advance.....it mayvhave only been one game but that's not easy to do.

Your trolling is so over the top that it is clear you are not a Flyers fan*. No Flyers fan, given our history of torment and frustration and futility, would bray endlessly like this.

They would also know that we have lost twice to Tampa this year in regulation and those were not flukes (they looked very much the better team), and we are 0-7 against them in the last 3 years. So, just because we have a good thing going now, its like, fingers crossed, nothing more.

*Therefore, I am not worried about Karma and Hockey Gods and so on. That just leaves your mental health.

A few weeks back, when I told you Oilers have a suspect D and don't look like they are built to compete, you ridiculed me.
