I couldn’t watch the game because of work but did catch the highlights. Looked like a one line highlight reel. Sanheim’s goal and Konecny’s pass on the first one were very beautiful.

In case no one said it in yesterday's thread, the nickname for the Konecny Hayes Laughton line should be the KHL line

I'm starting to believe the hype. 2nd line is rolling. PK looks good. PP will come around. Elliott's save on the late PP in the 3rd was a key to the win. If they get that Caps pull goalie only needing one goal. Love our depth.

Watched Jackets and Leafs last night. I was really impressed with Matthews' play at both ends of the ice. He is asserting himself a little more. More noticeable out there. That was what I was hoping to see from Nolan Patrick. Maybe not the same level of natural talent or ability, but just be a force out there. Now I'm just hoping to get Patty back on the ice next season.

I am hesitant about the facing Lightning and Isles. We'll see how we fare tomorrow. I noticed that the Lightning goalie tracks the puck extremely well. Most goalies react after a puck gets deflected into the seats. It appears that he actually follows the puck with his eyes out of play. It just looks different than other goalies. Watch tomorrow and tell me if I'm wrong. Isles have the Trotz factor.

Bring it on. Anything can happen.

Not sure I'd want Carolina either. Before you say we handled them this year, the Rangers’ record against Carolina since 2005-06 was 37-14-1 coming into the series.

Carolina only beat up on the Rangers, but it was a beat down none-the-less. They are playing great right now. They actually remind me of us. String team chemistry and playing for each other.

Carolina for sure worries me. They’re playing great hockey even without their best dman.

I hate to say this because my rule of thumb is route for Canada should the Flyers get knocked off but Montreal first, Toronto second. I think the Islanders can do some damage against us, I think Columbus might give us a hard time and I want no part of the Bolts.

Oh my god, Canes look good too.

Bolts and Jackets, no thanks.

Habs and Leafs, yes please.

Only losing a player per game.

Lineup changes for Saturday vs. Tampa:

JVR will be back in the lineup. He will join Grant and NAK’s line.

Farabee will skate with Giroux and Couturier.

Ghost enters the lineup and will be paired with Braun.

Voracek will not be available to play.

That “in-arena” service from Tata was hot garbage. They billed it as a live feed of the game. You know, with cameras. I know Tata is out of touch but I wasn’t expecting it to be that poor of a job. Anyways, NBCSN did their normal great job and the boys look like they’re having fun out there and HUSTLING!

“ AV was pretty tight-lipped about why Voracek was unavailable -- he only confirmed that his absence from the lineup tomorrow isn't a coach's decision. For whatever reason, he can't play.”

Great.

Just have to hope it's a precaution. Maybe he tweaked something and they don't want it to get worse before the actual playoffs start.

5 month layoff Patrick still not able to play, and Raffl and Voracek injured. Not to mention Lindblom won't be ready until September if it all.

So the playoffs haven't even started yet and they are down 4 regulars. Par for the course.

This technology will deliver Flyers in-arena content to simulate the experience of being at the arena for the playoffs.

I assume that means they'll have someone yelling "shoooooooooot!!!" and "hIt SuMBudYyYyYy!!!!!" in your ear all game.

Maybe Jake just broke some minor Covid protocol, and is being forced to quarantine for a couple days? I have know idea, just trying to stay positive.

I'm worried that when there is another injury tomorrow, Andreoff is going to have to be inserted into the playoff lineup without playing a game in 5 months.
