Rick Sadowski: No rolling a lucky '7' ... again

Proud of the boys. They fought, scratched, and bled to get within one shot of the conference finals. They had all the excuses they needed to roll over and quit two games ago, but they didn't. Lots of heart and resilience on this team, they have what it takes.
Gotta give credit where it is due, Dallas is a good team, better than people give them credit for. Still rooting for anyone they play though.
Next year, guys. You know Joe is going to build on this and we're going to have an even better team next year. A cup is in our future!

I'm also proud of what they accomplished. Had there not been any injuries, the Avs would have won that series no doubt about it. Having said that, they were up 4-3 with 3:30 left and they F****** blew it. 10 seconds later and its 4-4. Thats unacceptable. We need a good 7th Dman. Assuming we cut ties with Nieto, Connaughton, Jost, Hutchinson to name a few. We need a big forward on the 4th line that can hit and throw the body around. Also need a good depth dman. Hope Timmins is ok, he's 1 concussion away from maybe retirement.

My pre season pick to win it all. You guys have all the pieces. Injuries CAN be an excuse with that many, just brutal.

Avs need Cody Ceci. A power forward would help too. Maybe Hoffman. Also Gaudreau. They miss Kerfoot too.

we don’t miss kerfoot. he’s decent but not great. what we need is more size and more defense (get rid of zadorov, he blows).

I wouldn’t be surprise if Habs Jonathan Drouin is reunited with a MacKinnon next year. Lots of Rumors were rumbling last season at trade day. I’m not sure if AVS were really eyeing Drouin but it could be a fit as they played Junior together. But something going up between both team

This team needs no trades or free agents. Avs set up better than any team to continue to be better. I can’t imagine how dominant this group will be if Byram is legit. Tough losses build character

Pass. Anything the Maple Leafs have that the Avs want, the Leafs wouldn't be willing to part with.

I wouldn't entirely agree that the Avs are set up fine to do nothing, clearly depth became an issue in the playoffs, but it's not like we need to move the Earth to get better. O'Connor will probably be a regular, which is fine, he can take Nieto's spot since that was basically just a skating body and brings nothing else right now.

If someone wants to take a Z, Jost, and Timmins package that's fine because someone ought there will buy high on it, but at this point if there's anyone in Timmins life that loves him they ought to tell him to walk away. You can't play scared that your next hit could kill you, and if your next hit could kill you, you probably should get out while you can and enjoy your life.

The team has a bright future, being from St Louis their owner sucks,and as much as I would like the team to win, as long as Kroenke owns the team I can not bring myself to root for team,sorry. Kroenke does not care about winning, only the $$$
